I remember watching the dream team in 92 and thinking that it wasn't possible one team could be so dominant.

I remember when dunk contests meant something.

I remember Magic's HIV press conference.

I remember watching Georgetown vs. UCONN and wondering how AI and Ray Allen's rivalry would be once they got to the league.

I remember when the NBA was the NBA and not NBA Europe.

I remember when people used to come into the paint and got laid out.

I remember MJ looking to get Paxson the ball in the 4th quarter of Game 5 of the 1991 Finals and Pax closing it out.

That one stands out the most to me. Thinking "man this is going to really happen".

I remember dunking my Nerf ball on one of those stick-on plastic hoops when I was 6, shouting out "Pippen!" (and sometimes Jordan) every time because he was my favorite player. I also remember writing a letter to him with a card inside of it, asking him to sign the card -- he never returned the card and I never got any kind of response letter... consequently, my Mom hates Scottie Pippen forever.

I remember Ewing/Shaq going at it in early 90's and halftime each team would have 40pts.

i remember when the seattle supersonics beat the utah jazz in game 7 of the western conference finals and advanced to the nba finals to face jordan and the bulls...

i remember when the seattle supersonics beat those 72-10 bulls back to back games at home in those nba finals...

i remember when the seattle supersonics beat the sacramento kings in the first round of the nba playoffs due to the great play of none other than jerome james...

i remember when the seattle supersonics were cheated by the refs in game 6 of a second round series that same year against eventual champion spurs and lost by 1 point when we should have won and took the series to game 7...

i remember when there was no oklahoma city thunder and i was actually able to watch nba basketball in person...

I remember when every team in the NBA was atleast decent and teams were showed as a group not as Kobe and the lakers or Lebron and cavs

I remember how funky i thought the Nuggets rainbow uniform was and strangely how awesome i think it is now

i'm 24 years old and i have watched nba basketball my whole life and i do not remember any time that all nba teams were decent...

With this i meant that every team even the bad ones played atleast decent ball, you could easily watch clippers versus Bullets/wizards back then and still enjoy a great game.Right now it is imposibble to watch the bad teams. I really think the great teams now would be struggling if they played in the 80s early 90`s but thats another topic
