Whoa there, pal. There are PLENTY of New York fans who would be just fine without Mr.James. As long as Walsh spends the money wisely, NYC will be happy.I can't decide which would be funnier.. deflated NYers or deflated CLEvlenders. NYers turning every subtle piece of news and turning into a hint as to why King would go there and then you have 100% of CLE fans saying "no way".
Either way 2010 should be a fun message board year
On the other hand, 100% of Cleveland will be miserable if James leaves.Comment

I don't know if he'll come or not, but the Knicks should be an attractive option. They have a coach he loves, as does the rest of the league. They have a few promising young guys, and another top 10 pick coming this year. And it looks like they are going to have the cap space to potentially get Lebron, and another star like a Bosh.
And they have New York, and while it might not be as big of a deal as 30 years ago, but it still matters. It's funny, a lot of the same people who always complain about everything in New York being overhyped and getting too much attention, then act like it's not a factor when being the biggest market could help a New York team.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

Yeah I'm sure. That's why I didn't put a % on NYers
. I just know there's a lot of NY message boarders with sigs saying "LBJ 2010" or something similar and I know plenty of them turn any subtle news item into something more than it is.
But yeah as for CLEers I honestly haven't met or seen or heard of one Cavs fan who thinks LBJ is leaving.Comment

Cleveland is already miserable.
If James leaves, the City could pack up and move out...because there is no reason for Cleveland to exist anymore.Too Old To Game Club

Well when your current team can offer you more money than any other team and has a better supporting cast around him, then it really isn't a factor.then act like it's not a factor when being the biggest market could help a New York team.#RespectTheCultureComment

Aside from Hmac, Cleveland fans are raging pessimists, so deep down inside they all have nightmares about Lebron in blue and orange.Comment

Huh?
Why would Chinese care if Lebron played in NY or Cleveland?
They're more likely to know where NY is but not Cleveland.
And that deal gives the Cavs more money but they're limited in what they can directly pay LeBron, whereas Nike can pay him as much as they want.Comment
