Rashard Lewis is simply a mismatch for the Cavs. The Magic got very lucky this year to play a KG-less Celtics and that the best team in the Conference couldn't cover shooting PF's. KG would most likely have locked down Rashard and forced us to find offense elsewhere.

If the Cavs somehow had Rashard and won the East, they would have done just like the Magic and got beat down low by Gasol, Odom and Bynum and would have had a lack of inside defensive presence.

Not to say that Rashard is a bad player, he just gets paid WAYYYY too much for the overall basketball impact he makes on games, which is primarily outside set shooting.

Really, when the Lakers began choking off Rashard's open looks (stemming mainly from Turkoglu's ball penetration) he couldn't create for himself and he virtually dissapeared. When his teammates needed him most, Lewis couldn't deliver. So while he is a good player he is not a worthy All Star. Heck, he isn't even the best forward on his team.
