Zo is not getting any better every season. And Miami needs to rebuild something that Zo cannot wait. He has to move somewhere else unless he wanted to stay with Miami though. Also the salary cap that will be freed from Zo will give miami a better options during the rebuilding.Comment

Re: Malone to LA? just a rumor
Malone on the Lakers hurts plenty of teams as teams wont be able to sag off on Shaq and Kobe. Heck, the Lakers could even rest both and just let Malone go nuts. On Dallas, he's just another player on a gimmicky team. He wouldn't get the ball much in that offense. I see him trying for LA, or San Antonio. He may opt to not go to LA if LA doesn't come after him hard enough. Dallas would only go after him if it would keep LA from getting him, but it still wouldn't help the Mavs catch up to the Lakers. They'd still get dominated.Comment

Re: Malone to LA? just a rumor
Even going with Sac, he would get the ball from Bibby, because Bibby doesn't mind passing the ball, and neither does anyone else on the team. He could play at the same time as Webber, but inside, because Webber doesn't like to post up, but would rather take a short range jumper. I think he'd fit well there, and help them out a great deal.Comment

Actually if Malone will sign with Dallas he will be the best low post offensive and defensive player they can get. Eventhough Dallas is already the best jump shooting team right now they won't mind since low post offense for the most part can produce high field goal percentage. Especially Malone is one of the NBA's top finisher in the leauge even with his current age. No matter how you will say it Don Nelson will be stupid if he will hire Malone as a defensive player.
And Mavs can stand against the Lakers if Malone is there or ZO since both this players are known give Shaq a shock any given night. They can't stop him but they can control him. The presence of soft players in Mavs will make Shaq have a lot of offensive fouls.
And I have never seen a team that has perfected the concept of "from your offense comes your defense".
For the most part it is always from your defense comes your offense.Comment
