I see a smart player with a sense of humor want to make his teammates to understand what he already new even the hard way. Game of a basketball for others is a game bla bla and for others is war. I prefer the mike way win at all costs be a total badass this is a game separating men from children If you want to win you need to sacrifice alot you won't make everybody around you happy but he made some million people happy with his accomplishment on the court you don't separate these two thinks. Mike was a complete psychotic personality obsessed with perfection and win and I love and admire everything about it.

If all this technology we have now was out back then, we would've torn Jordan apart with the things he said. He'd be T.O(media wise) with rings.

Not at all, Jordan didn't do any of this publicly like TO.

Jordan was never crying in PC's, doing situps in his driveway, publicly calling out teammates or questioning their sexuality in the media. All of Jordan's stuff was hearsy and behind closed doors. Jordan knew how important his public image was, TO doesn't have a clue.

Jordan was a dick but TO is the equivalent of a 13 year old drama queen attention whore. Very different.

In the 2000s there's no such thing as "behind closed doors."

I disagree with that I know for a fact that we still only hear a small % of what happens behind closed doors like 30% compared to 15% a decade ago. Its not technology or the media's fault either... The players and the leagues allow the door to be open as they want it to be... Good or Bad publicity sells, and Players on twitter and facebook myspace bring all that attention on themselves.

Oh yeah? So you know everything that's gone on in locker rooms across the country in the last decade?

So when some tell-all book is released in 2025 about a sports team in the last ten years you'll already know everything that's in the book? Okaaaaaay.

I don't disagree with your notion, however how can you prove that? LOL.

You say "I know for a fact" and then throw out percentages.. how did you come up with those figures? How do you know for a fact?

                  Yes, I know everything.

My point is that if these incidents were as common as they appear to be, we'd know about some. All it would take is one guy catching Jordan after a bad day/game/with a cell phone camera. Judging by these quotes, it wouldn't be that difficult.

The media would also give the receivers of his dick moves a platform they didn't have 15-20 years ago.

You're trying to tell me the uber media savy Jordan would have been unable to adapt to todays media technology?

                    Please.

From my time playing in college with and the amount of stuff that actually hit the headlines or made the news compared to the amount of stuff that will never be heard about outside our locker room... but even more so the guys I played with and when we hangout when they come back home and the stories they tell about what goes on in their respective locker rooms... Trust me We only see the things that either cant be covered up or players/coaches etc themselves tell us directly that want us to know...

Ya'll must really be THAT gullible to think that if Jordan were to say any of those things he said with TODAY'S technology and media that people would still look at him the same.

If T.O can take a dump at 5:43, best believe that by 5:46 we'll know about it. So best believe we'd find out about what Jordan has said before it'd make top story.

Wow, with all of that I'm surprised Scottie, Horace, Cartwright or any of his teammates never got into a fight with M.J.

Cartwright threatened to break Jordan's Legs at one point if he kept messing with him. Needless to say, Jordan stopped ******* with Cartwright after that threat was made.
