I wouldn't be surprised to see Foye or Miller moved again.

Problem is if they don't move Foye or Miller.. A Gil/Foye/Butler lineup would be their "best" combo when the game's on the line. I don't think Foye is going to take being on the bench too well if that's what WAS plans on doing with him.

      Absolute steal for the Wiz.

Love it, Love it, Love it...

They add scoring punch but they aldso protect themselves if Arenas or Caron get injured again..Steal of a trade.

t-wolves just rebuilding guess they like some prospects from this draft to build around al jefferson better then foye and miller

foye and miller were just role players anyway so its not that much to gamble on.

on another note it says t-wolves looking to get 2nd pick of the draft wow very interesting if they get rubio to team up with jefferson

Its kinda hard to call a starting shooting guard a role player, averaging 16 points a game.

Pesh is just a body, anyone thinking we lost anything moving him or even Etan just doesn't know Wizard basketball.

Songalia's versatility will be missed, but as for Etan and Pesh...Thomas played next to nothing last year, has a horrible contract, and a heart condition that could sideline him again. Pesh is IR fodder.

I'm in the "steal for the Wizards" camp. Foye isn't what he was projected to be but he's still a pretty good player. Not to mention Miller is still deadly from beyond the arc.

I'm saying..You could've waited man. You never know what could've came up. I would've waited untill atleast the draft. it's 2 more days untill the draft. People want to move up to that 5th pick. they put their hand in to early to me.
If they haven't drafted well in the past, what makes you think it was going to be any different? What player you know in the draft was going to come in and make an immediate impact off the break? One thing this does is it gives ya'll a veteran bench, which is something that ya'll ain't never really had and something that most consistent playoff teams have.

I think it was good for both sides but I like it more for Minny actually. This trade doesn't make Washington a legit title contender so while it does improve their team it's just kinda a "meh" trade for them. They are more or less in the same position they've been in - some pretty good talent but no real threat.

Minny could do some damage in the draft or trading one of the picks and add some strong pieces to their foundation. It's a gamble since they suck at drafting but maybe with McHale gone they've got some renewed hope. And man, if those idiots hadn't trade Mayo.

I guess they could go with Evans and maybe DeRozan though that might be a stretch for DeRozan to go that high. They will need back court help though.

I'm not saying draft anybody pack.. All I'm saying, you could've waited 2 days to see if somebody better came of it. It is true it does gives us a better bench. It's obvious that we're in a win now mode. Maybe just maybe something else could've been there.

Anyway, Ernie is not done dealing. all the so called nba experts like the trade, and I like the trade. We'll just see what happens tomorrow.

Well by comparison of the **** I've had to watch as a Knicks fan the last six years, yes that Minny team would be fun to watch.

To be fair, aside from the Lakers, Cavs, Spurs, and Celtics, how many legit title contenders are there?

If the Wizards can remain relatively healthy and Gil is back to his 06-07 form all year, then this is a great deal for them as they would now have a legit bench and wouldn't have to worry about killing their starters(Arenas, Butler, Jamison)since they would have some nice options to bring off the bench.
