parker will probly do okay. i see him getting about 14 to 15 points tonight. but Duncan is the one that will do most of the scoring. dirk will have his hands full trying to guard the low post play of TD! in fact, he can`t guard him. they will have to double team duncan if they want to win this series. but this presents A LOT of problems for the mavz! they are "NOT" a good defensive rotating team. when an offense breaks down the mavz defense it will usually result in 2 "EASY" points.

ohhhh my... the mavz will have a hard time stoping the spurs!

Have you researched Dirks stats against the Spurs this year? He's torched them, also, it goes both ways, Duncan has to guard Dirk also. Like I said in the earlier post, those two should cancel each other out.

          <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

dude, regular season means nothing. duncan will not have that many problems against dirk. the way duncan will guard him is quite simple... just keep him on the parimeter and don`t let get inside. dirk is just not an inside threat. and the team that can get inside usually has an advantage and that will be the spurs. but theirs always that chance that dirk will light it up from the outside, so no big deal, duncan will have to extend his defense a little to contain dirk. tonight i doubt dirk will get over 21 maybe 22 points tops. i don`t see him lighting it up for 30-40 points like he did against those "weak" defensive teams.

No regular season doesn't mean anything but IT IS AN INDICATION OF HOW SUCCESSFUL A PLAYER WAS AGAINST ANOTHER TEAM!

Just cause a guy can pull down defensive rebounds doesn't mean he's a good defensive player.
