        u made ur first mistake u metion horry and fox in the same sentence as kobe they don't even compare.

        Yes shaq is the start of that team but it goes like this Shaq=Legend this guy will go down in the books as maybe the most dominate player ever to play the game maybe wilit was more but thats all i can think of
        Kobe=Superstar you can't say a man that average 30pts/game isn't a good player but the fact is he is in shaq shadow because he will never be half of what Shaq is and neither will 99% of the men that play in the NBA. The fact is that if Kobe played somewhere else he would be a star and no one would question that but the reality is that he is playing behind Shaq.

                        Wasn't Shaq did not play a number of games this season? Reason why they landed on the 5th seed.
                        Isn't that a disadvantage of Shaq in the race.

                                The way I look at the Shaq - Kobe situation is this:

                                Shaq is good enough to keep you in the game for 3 quarters.
                                The 4th quarter is Kobe time and he's good enough to get you the win. Kobe is the go to guy in the 4th.

                                on a side note: Where has this thread gone? From talking about a shoe deal, to this?
