Re: NBA Live 2004 Interview Questions

    1. Has the presentation been upgraded???

    2. Will teams play like there respective selves (like will boston shoot 3's, Lakers play more of a half court game, or dallas play up tempo)?????

    3. Will you be able to hire and fire coaches????

    4. When signing free agents will other teams challenge to sign a player (like Madden)??????

    5. In create a player, will the faces look more realistic and will there be more faces to choose from??? Because last year the faces didn't look to realistic and there wasn't a whole lot of faces to choose from.

    6. Will there be a home court advantage??? For example if your playing at home will the refs give more favorable calls to the home team??? Making it more important to win regular season games to get home court advantage????

        What about FG %???
Are there gonna be more realistic dunks and blocks?
        Any new jumpshots?
        Better rim physics?

Ability to play with 6 Divisions?(like supposed NBA realignment that is coming in a few years with the Charlotte Franchise) Also ability to rename.

Ability to turn Salary Cap on and Off?(Like in Madden, don't want to deal with the hassle of always calculating salaries, just want ability to go ahead and make trades.

Besides some of the Best Teams that won titles, teams that didn't finish first, but were good? IE 98 Jazz, '92 Blazers, 02 Kings, 94 Knicks, 95 Magic

                    All Time Teams?

Great Teams from the ABA? Like the 76 Nuggets, 75 Kentucky Colonels, 74 Nets, 72-73 Pacers

Will the new PBP team of Marv Albert and Mike Fratello provide better and more player specific commentary in Live 2004? How many lines of dailogue are you aiming to get recorded? Will they have some of the same banter that they have on TV.

All of my other immediate questions have been asked.

Re: NBA Live 2004 Interview Questions

                                Ok here goes:

-Will collision detection be more realistic when a player is driving to the basket? i.e. when someone is going for a layup or dunk will he be able to just go right through my defender and knock him down, and continue to layup/dunk as if my defender wasnt there at all. Or will there be more realistic contact?

-Will users be able to control the block animation? meaning, can i just try to get a hand in the shooters face or if I jump will my defender always **** his hand back to send it to the 10th row?

-will the coach models/faces look more realistic?

-is the dunk sound effect still in the game or is there a more realistic sound when a player dunks? What about the swoosh sound as a player is going up to dunk?

-Is the alley oop animation any different? i.e. does the player lob it more or throw it directly at the rim with 2 hands still?

-will there be loose ball over the back fouls?

-will players "fight" for positioin when trying to post up or post defend?

-will players with low jump/dunk ratings be able to pull off fancy jams?

-will there be more jumpshot or dribbling animations that more accurately represent the individuality of the NBA?

                                -will there be lead passes?

-will there be more strategy? i.e. Teams like Sac or Dallas utilizing their deep benches, players attacking other teams star players that are in foul trouble, teams exploiting mis-matches, etc.

-will there be sort of a player tendency feature to ensure that the players play the same way as their real-life NBA counterparts?

-will there be any kind of system that lets you know if a player is hot or cold? If so will the cpu coach, try to keep his players that are hot on the floor whether they are starters or not?

-will players perform more realistic dunks and layups in traffic?

                                -will there be rookie scouting?

-will the scouting reports be more detailed?

-will players be punished for having non-ballhandlers control the ball so much? i.e. If someone is trying to bring the ball up with Vlade Divac, my gaurds should be able to easily rip him.

-will there be a more variety of shots? i.e. Tony Parkers teardrop, more bank shots, lay-ins or bank shots when a player is like 1 or 2 feet from the basket instead of jumpers, etc.

-will there be career ending injuries or players that have chronic injuries(Grant Hill type situations)?

-will there be more realistic shooting percentages(in the low 40's high 30's if you are having a terrible game, mid 40's on the average, around 50 if your team is shooting lights out)?

-will the cpu teams be more realistic in the off season during franchises? i.e. will a team be able to somehow sign 4 all-star players like in 2003?

-Will there be a list of preferred teams for Free Agents who "refuse to sign"?

-Will there be a better playoff atmosphere?

-Will players like AI and Ben Wallace be able to have multiple hairstyles?

                                -are 1 handed steals gone?

-will freestyle moves be toned down a little?

-will i be able to draw a charge everytime i'm being posted up by pressing the charge button?

                                -will there be flagrant fouls?

                                -will there pump fake passes?

                                -will there be off-balance shots?

-will players try to free themseleves from defenders?

-will defenders sometimes try to deny someone the ball(not just in post situations, I mean like gaurds)?

-will there be set inbounding plays?

-will we still be able to make full court and cross court passes?

-during the draft can we view college players college stats?

I know I have a ton of questions, but if only some of them are answered i'll be happy
