Why does everyone say this?....LOL does everyone here know that East has a better record vs the West?....lol

Like I said MVP usually go to the players with the BEST RECORD in the league. Durants...team is number 8. I talking from past MVP votes. I don't think Durant got any first place votes. If anyone other then LeBron got. It would probably be Kobe. And like I said before I would be shocked if anyone got first place other than LeBron lol

Yeah I agree with you, I definitely think that the MVP process is kind of off.

Bottom line is LBJ is the far and away winner

EDIT: Just looked. He had that dunk at the end of the game and a shot here and there. He just didn't have much of an impact in the game really.
Thats the one thing I hope they see coming into the game 2. The key is turnovers and rebounding...Thunder live off these 2 things. Westbrook on early oultet passes. They need to threat him like LeBron in those situation. And drop his *** in the open court. Durant need to keep Ron on the move. And keep the ball moving.

I just didn't understand why they went away from Westbrook. They had no answer for him when he was aggressive and was attacking the rim.

But to win this series, they are going to have to get Durant going and to do that, they are going to have to get him easier looks than what he had yesterday. They don't stand a chance against LA if he plays like he just did.

But OKC should definitely make full use of Westbrook. They obviously have a HUGE advantage there. Keep him involved as much as possible.

I feel as those early possession when they rebound and push the ball up court. The Laker Bigs had trouble getting back. The Thunder had what I like to call "walking fast breaks". Its not that they are pushing the ball hard like the Suns would. The bigges problem...not stopping the ball in those situation. Westbrook will eat any PG in the league like that. I think Durant need to attack a little more. I know its not his game. But I think he needs to get to the line about 12-19 times to be fully effective (and keep Artest moving!!)

            Hopefully they figure it out.

Yea because its a home and home but if east teams had to play west teams 2 home and 2 away it would not even be close. Imagine if Cleveland had to play 16 more games vs the top 8 in the west rather than beating up all the subpar teams in the east no way in hell they win 60.

Thats what people should stop and see. I know everyone is going to have their own winners in their own opinion. I can't stop that. Your either really blind or a *****.

Still doesn't make sense to call the East "WEAKER".

My thoughts exactly (and I'm far from a Lakers fan). What Kobe has done with the injuries he's had this year is pretty impressive. As for this 09-10 season, he wasn't the best player out there, but considering the injuries, I'll wait until next year before I just start throwing a bunch of names ahead of him on any lists that span more than this current season.

And as much as I'd love to see LBJ start winning some rings, until he wins one, nobody can go on and on about how much he'd do on other teams. The Cavs were built for him and have a lot of talented players. Kobe's defense against OKC is a perfect example of why a team needs to be built specifically for a player like LBJ or Durant. Lets see how they adjust.

                        It's just facts.

Kobe wasn't close to the best player this season. That's all.

And did you just say teams need to be built specifically for LBJ and Durant?

If you put Kobe on Cleveland or put Kobe on OKC, I would wager a lot of money that neither team would make the Finals or get close to it.

Kobe's defense? LOL, what exactly did he do? And against whom?

No, I am not saying he WILL or WON'T. I am saying that he shouldn't. NOBODY should get a first place vote other than Bron. There is no logic behind ANYONE saying Durant should get ANY first place votes.

Well I wouldn't be too upset, DC if Durant got a few votes.

LBJ should still win by a landslide, but Durant did lead one of the youngest teams in the league to 50 wins, basically to a 6th seed [tied with Portland's record].

Durant did win the scoring title and nearly averaged 8 rebounds. That season resume is good enough to garner a few first place votes.

If Kobe played in east during the 06-07 season when he had smush parker and kwame brown in the starting lineup he could have gotten to the finals just as Lebron did.
