HuH the Charlotte Hornets first draft pick was Rex Chapman 8th overall in 88. Miami, the other expansion team that came in with Charlotte got Rony Siekley 9th overall. The Hornets didn't have the no. 1 ovr pick till 91 when they got Johnson, then they got Zo in 92. Orlando didnt come in till 89, their first pick was Nick Anderson(11 ovr)

And to clear another thing up,Orlando didn't draft Hardaway the year after they drafted Shaq.....they drafted Chris Webber. They traded the rights to Webber to Golden State for the rights to Hardaway.
