I believe this was a topic just after the OLY's ended last year, and yeah it's a no brainer.

That was my point. I know that everyone on the Redeem Team had to get theirs but on the Dream Team, the GREATEST player of all time wasn't even apart of the offensive equation. If you look at the games, he barely was getting those touches but he was still scoring. The main guy was taking a backseat so everyone else could get theirs.

On another note, Lebron, Wade, and Kobe would be nice. I think that Wade might be the only guy to get the upper hand cause Pip would be able to stick with Lebron on the defensive side, Mike could take Kobe, and Wade might be able to get Clyde a little. Depends. I'd definitely like to see that. I think that when NBA 2K & NBA Live come out, we should get someone to setup a nice roster with both team on there and possibly the Dream Team II to see who would really win. I'd definitely watch that.

pippen would be able to stick with lebron?.. these kind of debates are fun because i dont really think anyone is preventing lebron from doing whatever he wants...which is basically shaq his way to the rim at will.

Here's what would really happen..Kobe can't ever shut up..so of course leading up to the game he'd say something about being able to shut down MJ...blink...MJ's got 60..end of game

...as if any ONE of the redeem team members could stop MJ.

Let alone Magic, Hakeem, or Malone...and that's just for starters.

Hakeem wasn't on the Dream Team.

Dream Team treats Redeem Team like a small South Americian squad.

Pippen was a strong defender but yeah, LeBron would get past him enough to factor...IF the rest of the squad wasn't comprised of HOF level talent at every position.

Magic was not the young Magic. He played a Jason Kidd-esque role on that team. Hell, he was more GM than player.

LBJ would definately give Pip work.

Size & depth up front are the only thing Dream Team has over the Redeem Team IMO.

Stand corrected. Nevertheless...The Admiral, Ewing, Malone, and Barkley are more than enough to beat the youngbloods in the paint.

LBJ would give pip work, just like MJ, Barkley, Ewing, Malone, and The Admiral would give everyone else work.

Bird and Magic...meh...they could still contribute, but yea they weren't going to dazzle anyone..

At point Stockton could get his 30 minutes, and be spelled by an MJ or Clyde....and that still leaves Mullin to dial it in from beyond the arc.

The '92 team won the Olympics by and avg. 43.8 pt margin of victory. The Euro (etc.) has greatly increased in today's game, but this team...all things equal...would still dominate...maybe not by 43.8...probably more like 43.7.

There was Dream 2 and Dream Team 3 , But the We NEVER BE other Dream Team. I think shaq should of been on the team not laettner. Then it would been possible 12 for 12 Hall of Famers on the team.

Didn't he win the MVP just two or three years before then?

just youtubed the dream team and found game video , magic was still magic but was hurt. he had a hammie pull, played in 1 st few game then missed some of the middle games and was back for the medal round.

The best one where the tourtament of americas , those were crazy blow outs.
