The point guard position definately. Every single one of those PG's you mentioned are all star caliber players.

        SF by far

The nature of the position basically makes it impossible to not have a worthwhile SF.

PG has the most good players, but there are probably 5 or fewer teams with a weak spot at SF.

I voted SG. I think PF and C get diluted because of the crossover appeal; Tim Duncan and Amare Stoudemire, for example, could be listed in both (Duncan was named both the top PF and second-best C in the GM boll). PGs get too much credit when a team wins and maybe also when they lose, kind of a quarterback effect a la the NFL.

SFs are good, as are SGs. I voted SG because it's a tough position with no place to hide; if you score, great, but then you have to defend an all-star at the other end. I think it's pretty deep talent-wise, including some of the best in the game... but I have it very close with SF.

This. Very rarely do I hear "This team is going to struggle until they find somebody to play small forward effectively."

Vic: No Kenny, that's girl versus girl.
              Kenny: What's the difference?
Vic: Well, in one, one girl wins. In the other....
              Kenny: Everyone wins?!?!

Manu Ginobili isn't a top 10 SG? Huh?

I would say small foward, by the way.

I'm going with SF as well. Not only what those other guys said if you look at the age of all the top SF's in game outside of Pierce and Butler they are all 26 and younger. So they will all be top level players for years to come. When you look and see that LeBron is 24, Melo 25, Durant 20, and Granger 26 not to mention the other young players we should see some greatness for many years to come. No other position can make that kind of statement except for PG.

I look at the league in terms of guards, wings, post players (I also recognize Point Guards like Steve Nash, Chris Paul, Luke Ridnour as a separate position but so called PG's like Flip Murray, Tyreke Evans, Derek Fisher I just call guards).

I would have to say the best players in the league are all the wing players. Lebron, Kobe, Melo. Plus guys like Granger, Durant are movin on up.

The league is really becoming more spread out. Not much post play so big men are really in transition skill wise. Face up jumpers are the shots most bigs are getting nowadays. Wing players play at the 4 quite a bit now. Melo, Lebron will spend some time at the 4 this year.
