Re: Guess who already sounds upset in Memphis
That's why I'm not debating much with some of you "So Called Basketball experts" because half of you don't know **** you're talking about.#RespectTheCulture -
Re: Guess who already sounds upset in Memphis
Billups doesn't put his coach on blast, his teammates on blast after his first game on a team. He's a leader and a team player. He understands the ebb and flow of basketball, gets teammates involved, and leads by example and voally.
Iverson dominates the ball, which is why his assist numbers are higher. He's not as good of a defender and he will throw anyone under the bus if it's what's on his mind. He is not the leader Billups is.Comment

Re: Guess who already sounds upset in Memphis
Ya'll need to watch basketball and not look at stats.
Watch how Conley sets up the offense with 4 scorers on the court and watch how Iverson sets up the offense. Two totally different ways to play the game.
Iversons inefficiency is what bugs me the most. He needs too many dribbles to set up his moves. He takes too much time off the shot clock sometimes.
A lot of times I think Iverson needs to shoot more. Take that first open shot he has instead of dribbling around three screens, down the baseline then back again.
No stat can show that.Comment

Re: Guess who already sounds upset in Memphis
yea i just never watch any basketball... only been a league pass subscriber since the very first year they started it, but eh I never watch basketball...
all that stats dont matter stuff is BS... when you are on the court, the majority of the things you do show up on the stat sheet... some other things of course don't, but the most important things do... which is why they keep track of the things they keep track of...
the funniest thing is, people try to act like the players with bad stats, are better than players with good stats, based on these things that can not be measured..... that is just hilarious... i wonder why the best players always produce statistically if stats don't matter... it is extremely rare for an all-star or all-nba or mvp candidate to have bad stats...Comment

There is this word that you may or may not have heard of, it's called intangibles.Comment

Re: Guess who already sounds upset in Memphis
if someone says enough times, "so and so makes this team better by doing things that don't show up in the box score", people just believe it, and convince their self that it's true so they start repeating it... but if you sit down and watch a game after someone preaches about these "intangibles" and ask them to point them out every time, you will not see a huge impact on the game... instead you will see the guy getting 30 points, 9 assist, and 5 steals impacting the game tremendously...Comment

all he is doing is saying he wants to start and play more and try to win... the media and the people who despise him want to make it seem so much worse then it really is... a lot of players do a lot worse...Comment

AI disagrees with that. He even said so himself. He is only seen negative through the media. I don't think his point gets heard, or at least isn't respected in the media.Comment
