Re: AI/Grizzlies agree to terminate contract
Is it possible he could be going to the Knicks not only because no one wants to touch him with a 10 foot pole but also because he could sorta redeem himself and 'nicely' ask for a trade to a contender come the trade deadline?Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Re: AI/Grizzlies agree to terminate contract
My thoughts exactly. This whole thing is just a waste of time. He says he wants to win, but could possibly be with two of the worst teams in the league. This shows you that it's not all about talent. No one likes a crybaby. Now Playing: FIFA 15, NBA2K15Comment

Re: AI/Grizzlies agree to terminate contract
Best thing for him to do is train and practice and wait till February when the contenders will be looking to make a splash in trades. Most won't and will see AI on the market and hopefully by then his act is cleaned up and he is committed to winning no matter what the cause.
I want to see him go to a winning team where he has a chance to win the ring. Not to a team where he will be on only to average around 20+ PPG. As of now though keeping the average and minutes up is more important to him than succeeding on a winning level. Shame AI, shame.Comment

Even if he plays well and changes his act to February no one will give up any assets for him.

Re: AI/Grizzlies agree to terminate contract
AI doesn't give a damn about a ring right now if you ask me, he just wants to get a lot of minutes still IMO. I bet in AI's mind he doesn't think he should be going for the "old vet coming off the bench for a contender" until he's 36 or 37, he thinks he still has one or two more years left as a team's main option. And there's certainly no doubting that he'll be the Knicks #1 option, and probably #2 and #3."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier
