i don't think so... but because it's AI you guys act like it's ok...

I can understand his frustration and I can see why you guys are defending his thought process... but if he truly believes it's an issue, why would he not take it to the coach instead of going immediately to the media?

What good comes out of what AI did? Was it really the smartest thing he could have done? Is he not a 13 or 14 year veteran who knows what bringing these issues out in the media does to his teammates and organization? Should every other time his coach make a mistake, AI put him on blast just minutes after the game, right or wrong?

The problem is not necessarily what AI thinks, it's how he communicates with people. Game three and he's already undermining his coach out in the media. How is a team supposed to grow and win in that kind of atmosphere?

Dude it's one game and he had to go crying to the media. How can you condone that? I realise you have your standard issue AI fan club glasses on but you can't be serious. Going outside of the team like this can only be harmful for your team, no good can come from it.

I love AI, have been a huge fan of his throughout his career and feel like he's one of the greatest players of all time but he was out of line in this instance. For all we know the coach may have been going to play him 40 minutes in the next game but it'll be hard for him to do that now without losing face.

how many times will any teams top players play only 16 minutes this year? Even Greg oden foul trouble and all will never play 16 minutes in a game this year...

Bro, this is AI's first game and first game coming back from a hamstring injury. Most players play limited minutes when they come back from an injury.

It's not like it's 10 games in and AI has played 160 minutes combined in those 10 games.

P.S. Vince Carter is playing very limited minutes tonight. He's coming off of an injury. Let's see if he throws a hissy-fit during the post-game press conference.

C'mon man...he isn't a pure PG, he's undersized, doesn't play D, and likes to shoot all the time. He is on a team where OJ and Rudy need 20 shots, not to mention Gasol and Randolph. Conley is the obvious choice at starting PG. Use A.I. off the bench to get some scoring. I don't know why they even signed him.

vince carter played 30 minutes tonight buddy... im sure iverson would have been perfectly fine had he played 30 minutes... he also led the team in fg attempts... just because you are coming back from an injury does not mean you should play such a small amount of minutes... if you are ready you are ready...

he didn't start, and i don't see a problem with that... but i do see a problem with him not finishing... with the game on the line... i see a huge problem with him being sent to the bench right when his offense starts flowing.. i do see a problem with him only playing 16 minutes...

However, being a one dimensional, aging, undersized SG who can only put up big points on a lot of shots should only allow you to play about 20 minutes a game.

yea, must be why up until he went to detroit he has been one of the best players in the NBA... he should have only been playing 20 minutes per game his whole career... sure...

If he's everything you claim he is today, why didn't a single playoff team want him?

Not just a contender, but at least a borderline playoff team.
