Kurt Thomas wasn't too fast, but RoLo should provide some athleticism and shot-blocking when he comes back. Hopefully he can keep up with his bum foot.

But Kurt is faster than Shaq though and he meshed well in the run and gun. If Robin is as fast or faster and works in this O, then he can become the Ben Wallace type to our team

Shaq worked well with run-n-gun too. It was Porter who castrated the team by making Shaq the focal point. I would kill for Shaq to be utilized the way D'Antoni utilized him.

Oh my God! Matt Bonner just pulled off an impressive drive and dunk against Toronto! I didn't think it was possible, LOL!

I wish the Suns would have stuck with D'Antoni. Losing him was the biggest mistake Kerr made.

I pretty much agree, but what we lose with D'Antoni offensive efficiency, we gain in the bench playing much more.

Wait we lost offensive efficiency with Gentry? I can't tell

Yeah definitely. We're "only" fifth in points per 100 possessions. Under D'Antoni, we were BY FAR the best, with second place not even close. Note that this doesn't mean points per game, because we're leading that right now.

                    1. Who's number 1 in this quirky stat
                    2. PPG is all the offensive efficiency that matters to me.

Alvin Gentry is a hell of a coach. He deserved another real shot in the NBA as a head coach.

Raptors v. Spurs is being played at an insane tempo. I am watching the spurs jack up shots wiht my eyes wide open. Crazy.

The Spurs just scored 131 points without Duncan and Parker.

                        Insane.

Are the Spurs the new Phoenix Suns? 131-124 win over Toronto. WTF?

Manu Ginobili with 36 points, 8 assists, 4 rebounds, and 4 blocks. RJ with 24 points, George Hill with 22 points and 5 assists, and Matt Bonner with 18 points.

Keep in mind that this was without Tim Duncan or Tony Parker. Manu (and the rest of the team) stepped up tonight and the Spurs needed it.

What I've seen of George Hill has really impressed me.

Good to see Manu still has it too

I was worried this game was gonna remind me of the Dominique Wilkins Spurs days, struggling to score points and all...

                                3 thoughts from the game.....

                                1) Manu still has it!!!
                                2) It took injuries for pop to STICK with a rotation...works out ALOT better...
                                3) Bonner for dunk contest 09!
