maybe the 2k insider was right about this guy
EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.

im pretty sure brandan jennings is a real PG...hes nothign liek iverson.

he is a willing passer who WANTS to pass.

      think about this.

would you rather Luc Richard Mbah Moute shoot 15 times agame?

Skiles knows what hes doing and Jennings will one day be among the top3 in assists.

Ive been a fan since the MC'ds game

Exactly. Iverson has always been a 2-guard.

Jennings has always been a point guard.

        Completely different players.

They grew up playing different styles.

I don't really buy that either.

Diddy was an explosive, and bigger/beefier guard who finished at the rim over defenders.

Jennings is like a more athletic Kenny Anderson

And Jennings shows he is a real point guard after less than 10 games because of what? He passed a lot in the McDonald's All American game? He is a scoring guard who CAN pass, but that 55 points wasn't by mistake. He wants to score and he wants to score often. He has shown more of a desire to score than be a PG so far. He's avg 5 assists a game but 25 ppg. Not PG numbers if you ask me. Not saying he cant be a true point, but them numbers show me more Iverson than Nash. But the season is still young. Like him.

Did you watch any of him in high school even before Oak Hill?

Did you watch AI in high school and GTown?

There is a clear difference between the two

i think that's the top for jennings.

There is a clear difference between the two

Since we have no college to go by, I think Jennings at Oak Hill averaged something like 30+ pts and 7 assists. Nice numbers, but not PG numbers. And them Italy numbers mean nothing because his coach there didn't even like him so he barely played. But Iverson in high school also avg 31 ppg 7 assists and like 24pts in college. Now unlike Iverson we dont have college to fall back on to see Jennings game develop. So where has he shown these PG skills? 7 assists is nice, but in high school that's like 4-5 in the NBA which is what he has. A couple of nice no look joints against Arch Bishop Milloy or Christ the King or in an AAU tournament don't make you no PG.

No PG puts up 55 pts in a game less than 10 games into their career if they are trying to show they are a true PG. Iverson did that and made an impression. But for Jennings in Oak Hill, Italy and 9 games in the NBA I see more AI than a true PG. It looks like Skiles has given him some freedom to do his thing of scoring in large amounts. But when Redd gets back, we will see if them assist numbers go up. And its only 9 games in. We can both be wrong. But a "clear difference"? Not so much.

"The Truth" just took an idiotic shot with 5 seconds left in OT in a tie game. Who takes a step-back 3 in that situation?

Mavs won it on their shot at the end of regulation.

                          Still love Jennings though.

I dont know why Roddy didnt play in the 4th quarter of regulation, but Jennings only made one FG on Beaubois all night

True. I agree with giving Jennings the ball in that situation, with Redd out he's obviously our best scorer. I just would've liked to see him drive the lane. He either gets a layup, which is good, gets stuffed and the result is the same as the step back 3 except there's a possibility for a foul, or he could have dished it off to Bogut for a little hook.

I just think there were tons of better options than what happened.
