Jennings has WAY more potential than Charlie has now or ever had before. Please dont try to say Jennings will turn out like Charlie has because that aint happening.

You couldn't put up 35 against my local H.S. team, unless you're talking about playing XBOX 360, and even then my money wouldn't be on you.

Brandon Jennings is the best thing to happen to Milwaukee in a while. He's given the Bucks someone they haven't had in a long time. Whether he's Rookie of the Year or not, he's obviously made the Bucks better, and is having a great year so far. Now all they have to do is get rid of Redd...

55 in 3 quarters, think about that. I can name a list of players who had a big time scoring game that didn't turn out to be crap really. But Jennings has that swagger about him, he will be a star, barring injury or stupid personal decision. Plus he's in a perfect spot, no one was expecting anything out of the Bucks, prolly still don't. So he'll have a pressure free season so to speak, and then it'll be set in stone, he'll have already established himself, and that does count for something in the NBA.

And just to rain on the parade, I don't think there's even a 1% chance Brandon stays in MIL.

            Sorry

Just judging off his personality and what he's displayed off the court.

Hell Yes. You can tell he is a bigcity kind of guy. Nothing against Mil though its just dosent seem as a place I can see Jennings playing for more than 3 or 4 years.

Exactly. Add that to the fact that Milwaukee gets rid of every good player they have.

He plays with a lot more polish then I thought he would.

The NBA is a loooooong season. Lets see how he holds up.

As a Knicks fan, yeah, it would have been nice if we drafted him, but its no big deal to me.

The Knicks are going to buy themselves back to relevance. Thats been their plan, and that's what they are going to do.

dropping 42 as a rookie has been done several times... only dude to score more than Jennings is Wilt... and Wilt was a foot taller playing against midgets... people are always so quick to knock someone's amazing feats...

PS, it's never too early for Rookie Of The Year talk, especially on a sports discussion forum.... Brandon Jennings is not only averaging 25 ppg he is also winning games. He is obviously the early favorite.... Yes he only played 7 games, but he is talented, and he is puttin in work. No other rookie is even close at this point, only time will tell if someone steps their game up and rises to his level... The winning is far more impressive than his scoring...

But Imagine if the Knicks had Jennings now. I know alot of players would want to play with him not some big man named Jordan Hill. Lets face who do the Knicks have right now to lore anybody to MSG. Maybe Gallinari but thats about it.

yeah I'm just praying that they somehow lock him up. He supposedly is in love with Milwaukee, but I'm pretty sure he HAS to say that. But don't make me lose hope!

anyways getting back to the topic. That was the best performance by a rookie by far. In history. And that's saying something.

and to people saying "why didn't knicks draft him", he wouldn't be able to put up even close to these numbers on that team. On bucks he's the #1 option along with Bogut and has ALL the freedom he needs. On knicks he would be option #5, just like curry, flynn, griffin etc.
How exactly would he be option number five on the Knicks?? The only guy on the Knicks roster with his kind of scoring punch is Al. Guys like Chandler and Hughes would not be taking shots away from Jennings. If a guy like Gallinari can be thier third leading scorer I know Jennings could do far more than that. Hell Toney Douglas lead the team in shot attempts this past week so I know good and well Jennings wouldn't be held back at all on the Knicks.

That was a great game to watch.

                                I thought the same thing.

Also the other guy who said "it's no big deal we picked Hill instead of Jennings".. right. You sound like you're in denial.

Just because "your plan was to buy your way back to the top" doesn't mean you purposely screw up your lottery pick. You don't pick a guy like Hill when Jennings is there everyone knows this. Most Knick fans know this. Your logic makes no sense.

You could have LBJ or Wade or Bosh with Jennings instead of Hill, who should have been picked in the 20's. I actually also kind of wouldn't be that upset if NY didn't get a superstar just to laugh at their fans.
