    Kidd wants Byron Scott out..

Apparently, one of the steps in keeping Kidd is to get rid of their current Head Coach, Byron Scott. Kidd doesn't like Scott's coaching in games, and especially in last season's NBA Finals. He wasn't pleased with his decisions and believed that his son, TJ, would have done a better job during the 4th quarter.
    Just heard it.
" I look at him and it's getting to the point where it's just scaring me. He looks younger but he doesn't carry himself in a younger manner. He's impressive, and I'm glad we drafted him. "
    - Lavar Arrington on his new Redskins teammate Sean Taylor.

Wow that's interesting if it is true. I still feel even if they fire Scott for Kidd to stay, Kidd will bolt to San Antonio.

Another step that NJ is taking to try to keep Kidd is to sign Alonzo Mourning. I don't think Kidd is stupid enough to go to SA where he will have to face this season GP,Kobe,Shaq, and maybe Malone, and other seasons SHAQ!
If he wants to win a championship he has an easier and better chance to win it in the EAST, because in the West he won't even get to the Finals. I believe Byron got 1 more year left on his contract, so it's possible.

That comment about his son doing a better job is old. The Nets are trying to talk Mourning into coming to the Nets and it may work out. He is very good friends with both Kidd and Mutumbo. If they're able to sign him, expect Kidd to follow.

Holy crap AIFranchise your right. Kidd wants Scott out as coach in order for him to resign. Nets will start talking to candidates such as Carlisle and Dunleavy. If Kidd stays I say Zo definetly signs with NJ. Please fire Scott.

I love Kidd and I respect what he has done for Jersey...but if that's true, it's WEAK.

Not only does it make it awkward for all, it would make life intolerable for Scott next season...he'd have a weaker team AND the burden of 'driving Kidd away'.

Kidd has had TWO YEARS to make his mind up...AND weeks since the finals finished.

If true...if...then that's piss weak IMO.
