Nope. It's Wade and Joe Johnson. Kobe is at only 4 assists a game.

Oh wow....I'm pretty surprised that J.J. is up there. Never really taught of him as player who gets rebounds. But hey...He must be doing something right...lol

edit: Also Evans Rookie of the year? or is Jennings still the front runner?

NBA.com had him at 9 last week for there race to the MVP, and after these two games hes only going higher. Good time to be a kings fan again, I really like the young team we have.
Evans is going to be a really good player in this league but he doesn't need to win an MVP award to 'confirm' how good he is/how good he is going to be.

Believe it or not, JJ does everything a true superstar is supposed to do. Plays defense with anticipation and strength and grabs rebounds in a crowd. Vince Carter and Ben Gordon still have not figured this out.

            *with hands up*
I'm not bashing the man. I've thought his rebound numbers were around 4 (like Kobe's numbers). I've always known he was soild defensively.

Here is the question I asked my friends last night as we watched the game. Do you think he will be playing Point Guard for the rest of his career. Or will he do a Dwayne Wade?

I'd like to add to this by saying JJ's off-the-ball D is among the best in the league. Watching him guard Derrick Rose the other night was just ridiculous, how tirelessly he worked to deny him the ball even though he'd already played almost the entire game.

No answer from anyone about if he will keep playing PG. Or do you think he'll move over to SG? I remember LeBron seemlessly moved over to SF. Wade and Iverson moved over to PG.

Evans should be able to handle the point guard position. His court vision will only improve and he will have a better understanding of how to probe a defense.

Whether or not he remains as a PG really depends what roster moves the Kings make over the next few years...

Absolutely. If they decide to build around Tyreke Evans, Kevin Martin and Jason Thompson, 'Reke will most certainly stay at the PG spot.
