I like this pickup. All it really does is give them more offense. Howard's defense is only ALRIGHT IMO...

For some reason that comes as a bit of a surprise to me. Is Howard gonna play PF and Gooden slide back down to 3, where he had limited success in Memphis, or is Gooden gonna be on the bench? I don't know, maybe they use Howard off the bench? Last I heard Orlando was looking at Antonio Daniels. Do they have any cap room left now?

Either way, it is a damn good pickup IMO.

I think they'll be just fine. They need some inside game terribly bad. They need a couple more scorers too. I think Howard will work well with Gooden, and will give them a big boost. It would have been good to have him when Tmac couldn't get any help in the last game against Detroit.
I think they still have cap room left on top of not resigning Armstrong back. I think Declerq is a free agent also.
