As much as winning a championship was amazing i almost wish the Heat could've built around Wade, Caron, and Odom instead. Obviously Ben Gordon. When everyone was on the Deng bandwagon, I always felt Gordon was our most valuable player before we drafted Rose. Also, I used to hate when Skiles kept making him come off the bench in favor of Duhon. Even last year, Vinny started Sefolosha over BG the first week or so. He was the 3rd pick in the draft that year, and leads all players from that 2004 class in PPG, but he never got his due here in Chicago.Comment

Earl Boykins... so fun to watch and he'll absolutely light it up sometimes. Also, I miss Camby... gave him away for nothing and he was such a great guy in the community and in the locker room. I think we're better off basketball-wise with Nene and K-Mart inside, but the way that trade went down was pretty rough.
I miss Andre Miller's lobs too. even though he never really won anything...he WAS a superstar, electric one at that.
Maybe the team would have been built differently around him...and then we wouldnt have gave jamison that ridiculous contract.

I think being in Toronto arrested Vince's development. It not the fault of the fans there, its just that that particular environment, which stems from the cultural differences, makes it easy for weak minded players to settle.
I think in Golden State the fans would have demanded and expected him to stay as hungry as he was during his first couple of years. They wouldn't have let him flip that switch in his head that let him be o.k. with being good and not great.
Speaking of GS, I wish the Lakers still had Ronny Turiaf, yes we have an abundance of riches, but if we had him, I would see this as a 70-win season with a repeat championship as a virtual lock.Jordan Mychal Lemos
