Re: Bosh to the Lakers?
I don't think there is truely any single team that can offer two full-blown max deals, because the Heat will have upwards of $25M in capspace, but that is before they resign Wade. The Knicks have a similar amount of space but they'll also have to re-sign Lee and Robinson. If they want to open that additional space, they'd have to renounce their rights (as restricted FAs) and that would put them at big risk of losing both/either for nothing.
I don't expect ANY team will be in a position to offer two max deals, but I could definitely see two big-time players taking slight paycuts (heaven forbid) to allow a team to sign other stars. It will definitely be very interesting to see what happens.Comment

Re: Bosh to the Lakers?
Maybe it's false hope, but the people who think he will leave always come up with the same, "Toronto is syberia and cold" bull**** and have absolutely no clue with what goes on with the Toronto Raptors or even Chris Bosh for that matter.Comment

Re: Bosh to the Lakers?
Good thing I like Hockey more then the NBA which is a complete ****ing joke of a league. Don't get me wrong I love my Craptors, but still the league is a joke pretty much only 2 teams will be challenging for the title for the next 2-4 years, too many teams not enough good ones. And how many have won in the last 15 years ?? 4 or 5?Last edited by YuNgWuN; 01-13-2010, 01:38 PM.Handshakes at sunriseComment

We are going by what Bosh says about the city and how much he likes it up here as well as wanting to see improvement from the team...

Oh and I agree with your next post about Hedo, the signing was a good one on paper but the guy is completely mail it in. I think it was after the Boston game where he said he's not getting enough touches. The guy has been getting a ton of chances with the ball but is doing diddly squat with it. He needs to own up to the fact that he's playing like hot garbage.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: Bosh to the Lakers?
Well Cebby is usually the leader of that clan lol...
I can't really blame people for thinking the way they do because the Raptors don't have a great history and have been losers, more than they have been winners.
But man, some people on this board are so out of the loop with what goes on in the day-to-day happenings of the Raptors it is not even funny. I don't expect them to follow them 24/7, but if you're gonna make comments because us Raptor fans, going by what Bosh has says, think he genuinely wants to stay, at least brush up on your facts and know a thing or two about the situation...lolComment

Anyway the Hedo signing was not good on paper. It was absolutely horrific on paper. Everyone outside of Toronto was already saying this the minute he inked the deal. Everyone knew the guy would mail it in after getting paid.Comment
