Re: Bosh to the Lakers?
I agree with other Raptors fans that Bosh doesn't really know at this moment what he wants to do. I think he's slightly leaning towards staying. The Raptors are not a bad team overall. The thing is, is Colangelo willing to fork over the max money? In a lot of ways for PR reasons he might have to since every major star this organization has ever had has left for one reason or another.
I do think that Colangelo has some chips to play in order to make the team better for this season. There's a lot of talk about trading Calderon, not because he's bad or anything it's just that he doesn't mesh very well with Hedo. Calderon has a lot of fans in the front offices of other NBA teams and I can see a deal being worked out that can be beneficial to the Raptors if Colangelo chooses to do so.
If a gun were put to my head i'd say if the Raps continue to play pretty well right now and win a round in the playoffs CB4 stays.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: Bosh to the Lakers?
I honestly think there is no way in hell that Bosh stays in Toronot. He knows that none of his Team USA buddies are going there, and he also knows that if he puts up those numbers in NYC, he'll make waaayyy more money and get more recognition. Raps aren't Cleveland. Bosh goes to the Knicks right now, as is, and the Knicks are the better team the moment he touches down at La Guardia.
I could see him going to Miami or NY, but no chance he stays in Toronto.Comment

Wow.....did you just say that the Knicks are the better team at the moment ???

Anyways.....the ONLY way CB goes to NY is if LBJ or DW go there first.Comment

Re: Bosh to the Lakers?
I do wonder how much of the deals in the offseason will be made based on who goes where first.
Will a chance to win it all in multiple years because of two superstars being on one team be a bigger reason to sign with one team over money? We will see.
For you salary wizards on here:
Are there any teams that can offer two max contracts?Last edited by TMagic; 01-11-2010, 12:37 PM.Comment

He said that Bosh makes the Knicks better. Simple misread.

Re: Bosh to the Lakers?
I think only Mami can sign two max guys. NY has to get rid of one or two bad contracts, same goes for Chicago and NJ.
The problem is what kind of teams will NJ/NY/Chi/Miami have. To get the cap space, you have to give up (renounce) the rights to some of your players.Comment
