If you want to throw a combo guard in then Joe Johnson or Iggy

Those 4 guys are certainly more deserving. AI doesn't deserve to be in it but who cares, it's the All-Star game.

I don't mean to split hairs here, but I think out of all the guards, JJ is the most automatic pick. (And why are you calling him a combo guard?) He's the best player on a division leading team averaging over 20 a game. That's automatic. Rose is on a losing team and Rondo shares much more responsibility than the big three. Not saying that Rose and Rondo both don't have a case, but if either of those guys were up against JJ for the last spot, it should be a no-brainer.

Wait a minute. Amar'e is averaging 20+ points and almost 9 rebounds on a winning team. He's the 2nd best player on a winning team, and he's been there all season. Most guys in that situation make it to an All Star game.

JJ isn't a combo guard?

The point [pun intended] being, I don't want Iverson in this game especially if he's the staring "point guard". It's obvious Rose or Rondo deserves that point guard spot much more than Iverson. If Iverson would have been left off, then Rondo, Rose and JJ could all automatically be in like they should be.

Now that it comes down to picking Rondo, Rose, JJ for reserve roles. That's all I meant with that. For me All three have just as good cases as the other.

I'm taking into account wins, skill set and stats. JJ isn't "automatic" over Rose and Rondo IMO.

Rondo is debatable. I'd say that he and JJ are equally worthy at the end of the day. They each do a lot for their respective team, and they are both on winning squads.

Rose and Iggy though? No freakin' way, man. That's borderline absurdity.
