Knicks blame ghosts in loss to Thunder

Al Harrington returned to the court Monday night, but the Thunder -- and ghosts -- were too much for the Knicks to overcome. According to the New York Daily News, the Knicks were unable to sleep the night before their 108-88 loss because they stayed in a haunted hotel in downtown Oklahoma City.

The allegedly haunted hotel may be the best excuse for a loss yet.
For years, guests staying at the Skirvin Hilton Hotel have been convinced they hear strange noises and see ghosts. The stories may sound far-fetched, but these supernatural testimonials were enough to spook the New York players.

"I definitely believe it," Jared Jeffries told the New York Daily News. "The place is haunted. It's scary."
The Skirvin Hilton legend holds that in the 1930s, a woman jumped out of her window on the 10th floor holding her baby.
"They said it happened on the 10th floor, and I'm the only one staying on the 10th floor," said Eddy Curry, who claimed to sleep only two hours Sunday night. "That's why I spent most of my time in [Nate Robinson's] room. I definitely believe there are ghosts in that hotel."

Harrington was back on the court after being sidelined with a calf injury, but he played only 17 minutes, which may have been a bigger contributing factor to the team’s loss than ghosts. Regardless, the Knicks hope to avoid any haunted hotels in Philadelphia prior to their matchup with the 76ers on Tuesday night.

I thought he meant Nate Robinson's trade value is going down for having spent the night with Eddy Curry...

Squatch was one of the best mascots in the NBA. I hope he haunts Clay Bennett for moving the Sonics.

                      Definitely.

If teams had the option to trade absolutely nothing and get Curry and his contract in return, they wouldn't do so. So, nothing > Curry, thus negative trade value.
