Me i believe lebron because he is point more assist more points probably a little less rebounds on defense he will probably rotate and guard the SGs not PGs
And amare deserved ROY more than YAO tell me one accomplishment yao made? yall saying he didnt touch the ball enough what about putbacks an OFF rebounds
and amare is much better and more clutch

I posted this earlier:

I disagree about Yao. While both Amare and Yao had very good rookie campaigns, Yao should have been R.O.Y., or at the very least Yao and Amare could have been co-R.O.Y.s.

I personally think there was a minor Yao backlash because of all the publicity he recieved early in the season.

Yao and Amare averaged 13.5 points per, with Yao averaging less minutes and guards who at times played street ball and seemingly refused to pass him the ball.
Yao had more assists
more blocks
a higher field goal percentage
was a much better foul shooter

Now Amare did have more boards and his Suns beat out the struggling Rockets for the #8 seed in the west and that should be noted. Not to mention the fact that the margin by which Amare or Yao led the other in a given category was not too great in all cases except for free throw percentage.

Certainly more teams were gunning for Yao. He definitely hit the wall towards the end of the season. Yao is also adding muscle and Amare already had an NBA body like Lebron.

Another thing about Yao and Amare, they both had to make huge leaps into the NBA no doubt. Amare from highschool.

Yao had to adjust to a new country, league, language, culture, and the added pressure if being the #1 overall not to mention the fact that he did not attend a full training camp and the fact that he had played internationally for so many months straight.

I just think that Yao should have at least gotten his share of the R.O.Y. award. Of course winning or not winning the R.O.Y. is not the end of the world and they should both have outstanding if not great NBA careers, barring injury or other troubles.

I can't state my reasons any more clearly.

What i was trying to say is that when Kobe or marbury try to go to the hole Yao doesn't try to block anyone that's what i was talking about i'm sorry to confuse you guys, but back to the subject do you guys remember when Finley and Bryant dunk on Yao even if they move to the side Yao doesn't even attempt to jump to smack, and I no that most big men get dunk on, but Yao needs to really start playing with some type of authority.

so is blocking big men like shaq not showing authority? everyone gets dumped on by little men. its the price you gotta pay for being a big man. Hakeem got dumped on plenty of times as well as Mutombo. Those are 2 of the greatest shot blockers. You cant tell me they didnt play with authority. And plus yer talkin bout Kobe and Finley. They are explosive. They will dunk on anyone in the NBA. To answer yer Q i must go with Yao. Hes got great backup and could you picture the Rockets without Yao. Not really. he means alot to that squad. Lebron isnt what the cav's need right now. But i dont want to jump the gun. the seasons gotta start before i make any assumptions. let the isht begin already!
