Depends on how you feel about Bob Pettit, Larry Bird, and eventually Dirk.As Shaquille O'Neal left the Suns practice court, he yelled out, "Alvin's the coach. We must be the Clippers. And I must be Olowokandi. Nooooo!"Comment

Re: Tim Duncan Surpasses 20,000 Career Points
Haha, Brid was NOT more athletic then Tm Duncan....sure Bird made more exciting plays....w\ his high IQ and passing ability but that it was just that....his IQ that made those plays...plus Timmy spends his time in the post
If you look at some early Tim though, youll actually see him get off the ground and resemble an athelete...he lost what little he had quicker then most though..Comment

Re: Tim Duncan Surpasses 20,000 Career Points
Bird played SF....dude was fairly quick in his first few years in the league.
Tim Duncan never was that athletic. His length mattered more than any ability to run or jump.Comment

Re: Tim Duncan Surpasses 20,000 Career Points
Love Tim Duncan.
My favorite player of his generation.
Out of the big men Ive seen, I put him behind Hakeem and Shaq, and ahead of Patrick and Robinson.
I only saw Moses Malone and Kareem towards the end of their careers.
I'm hoping the Spurs can get healthy by the playoffs, and make a last deep run with him. They can still put 4 pretty good players on the court at once, if they are all in one piece.Comment

Congrats to Timmy, the best big I've ever seen after Hakeem. Personally I put him ahead of Shaq. He's the most underrated player that I've ever personally watched.
The league and media was so desperate to find the "next Jordan" for so many years after '98 that one of the best big men of all time slide by right underneath their nose. All substance and no style, his impact goes well beyond his 20 & 11 career numbers and ultimately he's a winner."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier
