Its insane to just assume Kobe is innocent because he is famous. He cheated on his wife, so he loses respect for that. But just because your perceived as a "good" guy doesnt mean you are didnt commit a crime. just ask mike tyson and o.j. simpson.

Also, if it was publicity stunt,why would she be staying at home and delibertly noty talking to anyone in the media during this entire process?

Great post. Rape is the toughest crime to prove because it usually boils down to he said/she said. Women usually tend to be the ones on trial with things such as what they were wearing and the amount of sexual partners they've had before being pushed to the forefront.

Let the accused be a male celeb and it becomes even tougher. Now the victim has to deal with the "It's (insert celeb name), he can get anyone he wants, he doesn't need to rape anyone!" or "Gold digging tramp!"

Without concrete physical evidence like bruising, scarring, etc. It's very hard to prove. Would people have this "Lying tramp" mentality if the accused was a 9-5er like you or me? I guarantee if it's your common Joe on the streets who is accused of said crime you get responses like "What a loser" or "If you have to physically force yourself on anyone you are less than a man". Too bad that umbrella of innocence until proven guilty doesn't apply to everyone outside of celebs. If you are innocent Kobe, I wish you well. If you are guilty, rot in hell.

Don't be so quick to judge Kobe. The newspaper in Vail is going to court next week to try and get 911 calls that the alleged victim made repeatedly in the last year. My question is, why did she make so many 911 calls in the last year? Don't be surprised if it comes out that she's nuts. Some of her friends have hinted so in their statements to the press. Maybe, Kobe just had sex with the wrong person.

Thats what bugs me the most. People act like they're Kobe's mom, dad, brother, or sister. WE DONT KNOW HIM! Appearances are decieving. The guy's digging himself deep. Now w/ the mention of drugs it might even be worse for him.
