    Oh, I know. I was a kid too, and didn't look up to my parents much. But I didn't look up to many people much. I don't think I needed to. Parents are there to guide their kids and teach them the difference between right and wrong. Things like that. They could also be their heros, but it's not their main concern. I think if parents put the basics down, then everything will be fine.

      I think that having a role model as a person who seemingly never makes mistakes is a bad idea. In reality, no matter who you are, you are going to mess up with something at some point in your life. A role model is somebody who shows that they can take responsibility for their mistakes and willingly pay any consequences owed from those mistakes. For example, I think that Kobe has so far been very good at handling his situation by admitting right away to his improprieties and telling anybody who may be listening that he was wrong.
