      Re: 2/1-2/7 NBA Discussion

While waiting for my ESPN MVP to load up on my Verizon phone there are "Did You Know" facts that display. The one which I saw today...

"The 2009-10 Chicago Bulls are the ONLY team in NBA HISTORY to have won 5 straight road games versus winning teams (.500 or above)".

Wow. THIS team is the only one in NBA HISTORY to do that? Pretty impressive. They beat PHX, HOU, SA, OKC, & NOR (in OT). With a road game against ATL they have a chance to push that to 6 road wins in a row vs winning teams. They've now reached a game above .500 too.

Rose has avg'd 24.6 ppg, 5.4 apg, 3.2 rpg, and 1.8 spg during those 5 road wins. He's shot 56% from the field during those wins as well.

        How bout them Raptors?

They're playing some damn good ball right now though at times they have a penchant for putting themselves in a hole only to dig their way out and get the victory.

One thing i'll say is that all those who poo pooed on Andrea Barghnani need to eat some crow. The guy has grown into an offensive force on his own and while his defense is no great shakes at least he's good for about 20 PPG.

I don't know why we alway struggle in Indiana though...

We got them tomorrow and Granger is playing like ****. You know he's gonna wake up soon.

Damn, Chauncey is just killin' it right now. Best month of his career and probably going to the ASG anyway since CP3 went down. He and K-Mart have been AMAZING lately, just doing everything we need. Always nice to beat the Spurs, though it certainly doesn't hold the appeal it once did, given that the Nugs are the better team these days.

Now let's see if they can beat the damn Kings for once... hasn't worked out so well for this this year, but the Pepsi Center puts most opponents down (21-3 at home).

Good "Did you know" from ESPN as I definitely did not know that. Nice accomplishment.

I find it funny that Laker fans I know Facebook and Twiter get so damn dismissive about the regular season and how it doesnt matter when the team gets rocked against teams like Dallas, SA, Denver, Cleveland but goes all-****in'-out when they win against the Celtics, like they just won the freakin' championship.

If they learned to be more accountable in their losses, their chest-pumping for wins would be MUCH more credible and MUCH less annoying.

He's telling the truth though. Its funny I said something similar to someone who sent out a mass email today, but I asked him why was he so quiet when the cavs went roughshod over LA.

He really had no answer, but its like a bad case of hygene with some of these folks and you dont have to look for them or ask for it, they just appear when its convienient.

Silly me for being located in LA and having to interact with them even when it's not intentional. Trust me, if I could get the living **** away from this city and never see or talk to a Laker fan again--I would.

Agreed. It's the same case that someone else posted on here when LAD got rammed by Philly in the NLCS...again...and the attitude towards it was "well the defending champion Lakers season will start soon"....
