Somebody told me Shaq couldn't defend either. And Mo before him. We were a great defensive team with Wally and the ghost of Ben Wallace...really doubt Amare would hurt our D whatsoever.

Too good to be true, tho.

That post of yours reads as if it was made at a 2k forum or a RealGM forum. At Operation Sports, we tend to have substantive postings. Posts like that don't really fly. If you want your posts or threads to be taken seriously, they need to stop coming off as if a 13 year old wrote them.

      Thanks.

Glad I'm not the only one that suddenly felt like I was at RealGM

Reading this makes me hope that Amar'e doesn't go to the Cavs even more.

ok please tell me how..because they way I see it, the celtics have yet to beat many good teams period since they beat us in game one,and they have yet to show they can stay healthy..playing only 1 game this season together as a team that was healthy..so please tell me how this was a quote "realGM post/13 year post/2k post or whatever you are trying to imply..because I dont see how a team like the celtics, could even keep up with the cavs in a 7 game series, WHEN THEIR BEST PLAYERS CANT EVEN GET ON THE FLOOR, BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL OLD AND BEAT UP/INJURED!! again, before you go insulting me please give me an explaination of why man..

The biggest problem for Cavs fans about this deal is that it's out there way too early...normally trades aren't made public until they are official or the final details are being put in place (Mavs deal the other day was done in terms of the major players by the time it was leaked)

I still remember the trade deadline story about Damon Stoudamire going to Houston. I'd already pencilled in Stoudamire with Clyde, Dream and Charles and a ring. (The big 3 had Matt Maloney as their PG...updgrading to a young stud PG at the time would have been huge)

The deal was floated early though so that other teams would react...in came Portland and took him at the last minute.

This one smells a bit like that. I imagine Kerr's phone is ringing off the hook at the moment.

yeah I hear you, but the biggest tipping point in this deal here with the cavs and suns deal going down, and us getting amare, is the friendship of danny ferry, and steve kurr, and this plays a bigger factor in trades then most fans actually realize

Friendship? That's what a lot of Bulls fan said last year with Paxson and Kerr. Don't bite on the bait.

I'm not insulting your opinion. I honestly couldn't give a **** less about the Eastern Conference or the ramifications regarding Celtic/Cavalier relations.

MY contention with your post was how it was structured. It offered no depth, general exaggerations, assumptions (using the word "when" instead of "if"), as well as poor punctuation and grammar.

As for friendship--there's a friendship, but in the NBA, friendships mean jack when you're conducting business. Kerr and Ferry are using each other for leverage here. Phoenix wants a (MUCH) better package for Amare, and the Cavs would probably rather have Jamison or Troy Murphy (he'd be my target if I was Cleveland) anyway. A lot of it is posturing, I think.

yeah I read this somewhere, it makes sense too because they(both teams) could just be setting the bate for the wizards that might lower their standards as far as what they want in return for Jamison, who is second on my list of realistic possibility's
                      far as trades go.

and for Murphy, no way..he is an overpayed role player, who is only averaging 15 on a BAD TEAM..Jamison is averaging like 6 points more then him on his current bad team, and they both make about the same amount, only upside to the Murphy deal, is that his contract expires next year, and he is younger, but as far as pure talent goes, Jamison takes it by far lol, but I'm all in on bringing amare here!!
