Durant is my man 100 grand but he has no business being over Dirk either. I still can't believe someone would even put Roy over Dirk SMH.

You mind explaining that? I'm not looking to argue, I'm just curious where you think Durant is significantly inferior to Dirk.

Brandon Roy is much closer to JJ than Wade.

Wade is much closer to LBJ/Kobe than Roy.

Roy and JJ are superstars, but Wade/LBJ/Kobe are the cream of the crop.

          Top 25

          LBJ
          Wade
          Kobe

          Melo
          Durant
          Dirk
          CP3
          Williams
          Howard
          Bosh

          Roy
          Joe Johnson
          Amare
          Duncan
          Nash
          Billups

If anything the discussion should be why the third guard ever to win back to back MVPs is considered a Third Tier player. Oh wait, it's because he doesn't do flashy dunks and consistently feeds his teammates instead of "getting his".

Roy is a great player, but he shouldn't be ranked ahead of Wade in anybody's book. Until Roy can step on an All-Star court and take over the game, ala Wade this past year, he doesn't belong in the discussion. I also have no idea how Wade in one season goes from clearly being the #3 player in the league to forgotten. I kept reading this thread wondering why everybody has suddenly allowed Wade to drop down their lists simply because his team is terrible.

In the offensive aspect of the game alone, I would have Steve Nash in the top 5. His impact on that side of the ball is incredible whether he's setting guys up or efficiently getting points when his team needs it. But his defense leaves a lot to be desired. If he were even league-average defensively, I'd keep him in the top 10 but unfortunately, he gets victimized by too many opposing point guards to be legitimately top 10. Love his game though.

The order is fluid, it shifts depending on the year/month but these are probably the ten best players in the NBA.

The Dirk is all on opinion due to the fact they play near opposite positions. Bottom line the people see Wade in commercials. That's why Wade wins. Do not take it personal people...It's all based on opinion.

Bosh doesn't defend well enough and is a turnover machine...Not a great passer..Top 15 yes, but not top 10.

Yeah, and he's not a freak athletically. Very skilled for his size but he doesn't dominate or solely rely on his athleticism.
