I doubt he was worried about the tech. I also think Amare's nudge might have had something to do with it, that and his faulty grip on the rim. My guess is he was probably planning on hanging on the rim and he could have got away with it if a player was under him (Amare).
I guess it's safe to say Andrew Bogut's done for the season (and postseason)

I think the problem was trying to hang on the rim in the first place.
If you look at those videos VDusen04 posted and Bogut's, there is a constant theme of trying to hang on the rim while going at a higher rate of speed on the fast break. Not trying to blame the victim, however I believe that if he went one handed or tried to just 'drop' it in the hoop he would have had a far better result.
Sad for him though.Comment

Would you believe that my last 2 Bucks games of the season were the injuries to Delfino and Bogut? And my seats are like 10 rows back of the hoop, and they went down in pretty much the same spot on the same side of the floor.
It certainly didn't look as bad live as in the YouTube video, and everyone is wishing Bogut a speedy recovery, but it came down last night that it will end his season and postseason (since he had surgery on it yesterday).Comment
