I didn't like the way he was using social media, how he basically threw Toronto away, how he was a super attention whore, and of course his role in everything else, BUT I do respect him for showing true emotion after losing. That **** was good to see, and I would never lay into him for that.

Re: The LeBron James Thread
The hate for LeBron, Wade, and Bosh will last for much longer than this season. Why? Because their actions on and off the court have made it impossible to like them. Unless they do some growing up real ****in' quick, stop the charades, stop the manufactured nonsense, stop the flopping, stop the whining, stop the whoring, it'll last for a long *** damn while.
Im indifferent towards the heat, but i wanted them to win just so we would have something else to talk about next yearEricmaynor3.com

Re: The LeBron James Thread
If Kobe Bryant and all the hate and PR backlash he receieved for an entire year in 2004 for adultry and the alleged Rape incident could change his number and become one of the most respected and well liked players in the NBA again, then LeBron can clearly pass this time of dislike by eventually.
Nothing lasts forever and real recognizes real. LeBron James will one day be liked as long as he does nothing criminal. That's my belief.Comment

Re: The LeBron James Thread
I'm not a big fan of the guy, but some of the remarks I've seen are downright nasty and ignorant. You'd think he was Osama bin Laden. Folks need to calm down. This is pro sports, it's entertainment, and not that serious.Comment

Re: The LeBron James Thread
I think the brunt of the hate still revolves around this whole situation being new and nobody wanting to see the Heat actually do what they said they were going to do in they're first season and just plow through the league throwing up oops to Pat Riley. They didn't succeed in they're first try and so the hate will die down some. However since LeBron apparently has three feet, two to walk with and one to put in his mouth at all times, there will continue to be hate for the Heat, the intensity of said hate will vary from moment to moment based on the off the court things that they do.Comment

Players greater than LeBron James have had playoff failures too. It happens sometimes. Let's see how he comes back from this.

Re: The LeBron James Thread
Were those LeBron "waking up tomorrow" comments more about "I'm LeBron James and you're not" or more of "hating me or loving me won't change your life in the end so it's not that serious'?Comment

Re: The LeBron James Thread
Maybe its not and I have wishful thinking, but Lebron knows the power of publicity, and I can't imagine him wanting to heave any more negativity onto his image (but he did it regardless). Lebron, someone who cares so much about his marketability and all that, doesn't strike me as someone who would with all of the things he says/does.Follow me on Twitter@DrewGarrisonSBNComment

Someone mentioned this same thing yesterday about Kobe and Lebrons fan fueled hatred. Diffrence between the 2. Kobster shut everyone up and diverted the negative attention by winning three more chips. Till Lebron does that, the hate will continue.http://neverfollow.biz (Independent Music Group)Comment

Re: The LeBron James Thread
"All the people that were rooting on me to fail, at the end of the day they have to wake up tomorrow and have the same life that they had before they woke up today. They have the same personal problems they had today. I'm going to continue to live the way I want to live and continue to do the things that I want to do with me and my family and be happy with that.
So they can get a few days or a few months or whatever the case may be on being happy about not only myself, but the Miami Heat not accomplishing their goal. But they got to get back to the real world at some point
Let's re look at the question:
LeBron James was asked whether he let it bother him that so many people wanted to see him fail.
The rerporter asked a somewhat personal question, and LeBron chose to give him a legit answer. He could have just said, Haters gon' hate or something cliche of that nature and would have been a perfectly acceptable answer but he made the classic mistake of just over talking to be honest.Comment
