Re: The LeBron James Thread
Now that this whole Gilbert letter thing is actually breaking (even though it's been talked about for like a week...), it sounds to me like LeBron is making an excuse for why he doesn't want to return to Cleveland so that instead of him looking like the bad guy, the city will turn on Gilbert.
I don't think that will work though. The letter doesn't exist if LeBron didn't have the decision on live television. Also, what happened to them mending things over at Z's jersey retirement?ATLANTA BRAVES

Re: The LeBron James Thread
The thing that I want to see happen
Lebron go back to Cleveland and do what he was supposed to do the first time
The thing I would be okay if it happens
Lebron goes back to Miami to re-join Wade & Bosh. It would be even better if Bosh still left for Houston, but that's highly unlikely if Lebron stays.
Thing the that would cause me to stomp my feet in anger at my desk if it happens
Lebron goes back to Miami to join Wade and Carmelo.

The LeBron James Thread
The absolute best part of this LeBron experience is being able to watch ESPN implode on itself. We've got B Windhorst giving PSA's to Cleveland telling people not to kill themselves if he doesn't come back, and LeBatatd just said on sportscenter basically that he refuses to make a prediction because basically no one has any idea with any basis behind it where he's going. Their reporters are finally admitting that they just don't ****ing know what's happening. Broussard is now publicly saying "my sources say but I have no idea if they're right or not, I'm just saying what I've heard." This is amazing. We have as much an idea of what LeBron wants to do as they do, twitter has obliterated the line between sports journalist and casual fan, because we now all have the same sources. It's pretty awesome.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

Re: The LeBron James Thread
The thing that I've learned is that I spend too much time worrying about where a basketball player is going to be playing basketball and that I'm ready for this to be over so that I can get back to my unhappy poor life.

Re: The LeBron James Thread
I dont know if Lebron is trolling the media, its moreso the media tripping and fumbling over themselves trying to be the first with the story. But hey, Im sure their tv programs and websites are getting outrageous hits with all the loljournalism going on. Its whatevs. Im just waiting for august to come and football can put the NBA to rest until October.Comment
