Again, those guys had great teams built around them, the Cavs were not a great team. They had one guy who was worth anything and the rest were either over the hill or just not very good.

By the way, if I hear one more person refer to Miami as just "South Beach," I'm gonna punch somebody in the nose. Miami is a city of 2 million+ people, and South Beach is regarded as the lamest, most poser-filled part of town by most locals. If Lebron really wants to come to Miami, he should want to represent the whole city, not just the rich-assclown-filled neighborhood on the south end of Miami Beach. Wade gets that (it's "Wade County", not "Wade Beach"), but I suspect Lebron never will. Oh well, win some championships I guess, let the bandwagoners take over. Go Heat.

I feel very conflicted about this. Yeah the Heat might tear up the league, go 82-0 and 16-0 in the playoffs every year for the next 5 years but it's going to be an empty feeling. Even when they acquire Shaq I still to this day wish we could have gotten to see what Wade, Odom, and Caron could do together. I'm grateful they won the championship and wouldn't trade it for anything but I wish it would've been Caron and Odom with Wade.

It's incredibly exciting to have Lebron and I can't wait till next season.
As Shaquille O'Neal left the Suns practice court, he yelled out, "Alvin's the coach. We must be the Clippers. And I must be Olowokandi. Nooooo!"

They want to win a championship man! What do you think Pierce did when KG and Ray Allen signed do you think he didn't talk to them to try get them? C'mon also MJ did have Pippen and Kobe had Shaq and for 2 or 3 years he was by himself but still had better talent then LeBron till this year or last year!

Miami is only a mid-market team (17th TV Market in the US) but this is a great day for the NBA if you look at the big picture. Every Heat home game will be a sell out and almost every road game they play will sell out.

You can complain all you want, but you will be watching Heat games. I know that and you know that.

LBJ, Wade, and Bosh are all pretty decent guys. It's disturbing to see people burn LBJ's jersey. He played his heart out for 7 seasons and that's what he gets in return?

To me, the NBA just got a 1000 times more interesting.

Doing it on tv proved that he can get a lot of people to watch him be interviewed and draw millions of dollars. It's really not that big of a deal.

Also the most shocking thing of all to me is that LBJ agreed to Miami under the impression that Spolstra will be coaching. Unless he didn't want to be anymore of *** by announcing his firing on air and knows Spolstra is on the way out.

Speak for yourself for the first statement, I will not be watching their games thank you. I will be loving to hear about them losing on Sportscenter though.

I think it is exactly what LeBron deserves. I hope he watched one of the videos of his Jersey being burned. I hope they take his damn Jersey down.

The NBA just got 1000 times more boring. And the Lakers and Celtics will be in the finals again.

LOL, they are supporting someone, but I'll let you figure out who that is. Here's a hint, he and Durant will form the next REAL rivalry in the next 5-10 years.

Good question. It isn't like they're particularly highly regarded by people when you're discussing the greatest players of all-time or anything. He certainly won't be BETTER than them now. He won't even come close.

If LBJ being talked about as one of the greatest players ever is coming as news to you, I'll just leave it alone then.

I didn't say anything about the Cavs. He could have gone to any number of teams and let them build around him, and it'll still be his team. But he went to the one team with another perennial MVP candidate who has a championship ring. He went and joined Wade, didn't go the the Bulls, Knicks, Nets, or Clippers who all have a little more wiggle room and flexibility than the Miami Heat who now have something like $400,000 in cap space. Why? D-Wade is there. If Bosh was willing to follow LBJ to the Nets and LBJ didn't want that, then it looks like D-Wade was the deciding factor, no?
