Re: The LeBron James Thread
You guys are making so many arguments im not even sure what this whole conversation is about
First it was the decision
Then it was he's not clutch
Then he's not MJ
Now its because he's not dominating for us
Its laughable man, because the main reason is, some people here just dont like him
Its not that you guys care about his maturity or his mental well being at allComment

Re: The LeBron James Thread
That was an awesome read and summed it up better than the 1700 pages of Lebron talk in this thread and the playoffs threads. Quite Hilarious. I like how he said that Jordan could get away with multiple murders in order to win. MJ always showed that desire, that eye of the tiger spirit when the game was on the line. Lebron....not so much.
Although I dont get why everyone is so quick to write him off so early. The finals are basically at 0-0 with the best of 3. As much as I dont like the guy, I dont think he's totally gone in this series. Look for a big game from him within the next 3 games. Maybe it'll be thursday. Maybe it'll be game 6. Who knows. But if this Jugganaut of a player disappears for the rest of the series, he legacy will be tarnished.
I think Lebrons problem stems from that he grew up having things his way and everyone worshiping his skills. Once he's taken out of his comfort zone, meaning that he is starting to realize that he's not THE MAN, he reacts accordingly. You looking at the Chair MAN!

Funny thing is I'd bet money on him quitting on Boston but I don't think he quit last night.Comment

Re: The LeBron James Thread
I hope everybody realize LeBron is about to go nuts the rest of the Finals. He's going to put up ridiculous numbers. And all the talk will shift once again. Lol
Even he does it doesn't excuse game 4.You looking at the Chair MAN!

Re: The LeBron James Thread
Seriously, the guy has all the talent in the world but he can't put it all together. And if he was more humble it'd be easier for him to work his way to that point without all the eyeballs, criticism, etc. making him try to show he's at a place with his game that he's not. In that year they went to the finals in Cleveland, he could just play. If they lost, nobody would've cared bc they'd already exceeded expectations. He's raised the expectations of him and the Heat to a level that he's not capable of fulfilling.
He's young and has time to grow into the huge shoes he's made for himself, but unless he takes a deep breath and a step back I question whether he ever will. Time will tell. It's possible that he plays better tomorrow but it's very possible that he doesn't and the weight on his shoulders grows even more.Comment

Isn't that what everyone (including Lebron) said after Game 3?

Re: The LeBron James Thread
2 words. The Decision. It sealed his fate.
Dont talk about it....be about it.
If he stuck with that tried and true motto nobody would be grilling this man. Fact is he went into this season thinking the Heat were gonna destroy the comp. This is a superstar who tried to take his name and game to the next level and with games like the one he had yesterday....his foot is jammed stuck in his mouth right now.http://neverfollow.biz (Independent Music Group)Comment

Re: The LeBron James Thread
LeBron hasn't learned that he can't just start playing well at the drop of a hat. You can't pout and send messages for a half.
I would bet cash money that someone in that Heat organization, whether it was Spo, Riles...or even Haslem or Wade...called Bron on all the crazy, off-balance 4th Q hero shots, and like last year when he had beef with Mike Brown, dude went the Kobe route and went into his "well-I-just-won't-shoot-at-all-then-so-there" and shut down for a while. Only 4 shots in the entire 1st half isn't just a bad game. And again, like last year, by the time he tried to get involved, he had no timing or rhythm. Spo referenced several times in both 2 and 3 pressers that the blame for the poor endgame was the lack of ball movement and trust, which is a direct shot at all the pounding Bron was doing. When those hero shots fall like they did in BOS and CHI, it's godly, but when they don't it is what it is...bad shot selection.
In hindsight, given his problems with Silas, Larry Brown, Coach K, and the one time Mike Brown put his foot down, Bronny seems to have a real problem with authority. I don't think he'll let his pouting kill this team like he did last year tho, too much at stake. I fully expect dude to be stuck in BEAST mode for the remainder.Hank's Custom Collectibles 3D printer/painter extraordinaireComment

Re: The LeBron James Thread
He's an incredible player, but for whatever reason, something is missing. He can utterly dominate a talented team and the league's MVP like he did against Chicago and Derrick Rose in the previous round; he can will his team to victory like he did against Detroit in game five of the 2007 Eastern Conference Finals; but it doesn't seem like he has the drive to do that all of the time, and it is especially disappointing to see his lack of drive to always be great manifest itself the way it did last night, when his team is in a very tough fight to win a title.
He might come out swinging in these final two or three games and put up huge numbers and get his ring, which will silence much of the criticism. But I don't think I am going to forget what I've seen from him so far regardless of the ultimate outcome.Comment

Re: The LeBron James Thread
This post may be premature he goes out and kills it you will have to take it all back. I just feel like he did game 4 on purpose now that it's understood they need him to win(like we didn't know the Heat needed his *** before game 4) he can come in and be the late series hero oh yeah and MVP.Comment
