Nobody has MJs stuff...thats why he's MJ

Last summer, James made a conscious decision to flee from the responsibility of being an alpha. By going to Miami he admitted to the world what many of us already suspected--that he (James) doesn't have what it takes to be a true alpha dog on a championship caliber team. There's nothing inherently wrong with that, but it should pretty much eliminate the guy from any consideration as the GOAT. <!-- / message -->
So we are going to beat down on him because he chose not to carry a half dead franchise into the depths of more non championships?

LeBron is still playing basketball, the GOAT stuff shouldnt even be talked about in this thread or any other...same that was going on with Kobe Bryant and so on

Im not going to shoot him down because he's not MJ...thats even more silly than that guys other statement...he basically came in here to call him not clutch only when he lost a game

That sir it what you call a chicken, who likes to hit and run

LOL Kobe pulled the same passive antics against Phoenix.

Now LeBron can't be the "alpha" on a championship team?

Not saying he can't, but has he proven he can?

Alot of double teams. He took only 11 shots (hit only 3) to Bosh 19 and Wade 21.

Anyone notice alot of lebron assist were to a cutting Wade? Or off the pick and roll traps?

... except that James has done this before.

I don't get this double team excuse. Dallas doubled and tripled Durant throughout the OKC series. I can't ever remember Durant playing completely disinterested because of it.

It was just that LeBron played poorly. He played as if he didn't care. I don't know why, but he did.

He took less shots because he couldn't get the ball out of his hand fast enough.

LeBron has been doubled before, it's called use your speed and strength to attack before it comes. Not that difficult.

He not only played horrendously, but played disinterested, passive and with a care-less attitude. Can't believe anyone is surprised, this isn't the first time he has done it. I was waiting for the camera to follow him down the tunnel and show him ripping off his Heat jersey in disgust reminiscent of "Game 5"

Damn, that's not many "alphas" then.

I guess that only leaves Wade, Kobe, Duncan, and KG in the last 5 years.

No LeBron, KD, Dirk, Dwight, CP3, Rose, etc.

I guess none of those guys can ever be an "alpha" on a championship team.

James has been content to let Wade carry the load from the opening tip of the Finals. True alpha's never, ever believe that anyone is better suited to being "the man" than they are...that's what makes them alpha's.

MJ comparisons aside, the main point here is that James has once again shown to be completely apathetic. Out of all of the recent superstars past and present, I have seen it occur maybe once in the post season for a few of them.

I have now witnessed it twice from James, and obviously this time occurring in the finals. Truly bizarre.

I don't think "LeBron being an alpha" is a discussion even worth having. But Nobody is excusing Kobe and nobody should be excusing James for now pulling this diva stunt twice. Two years in a row none the less. Lol

Exactly what I was about to say.

Plus this isn't the first time Bron Bron has disappeared as the "alpha" and he's doing it again when everyone was proclaiming that the Heat was now "his" team. Maybe you were fooled by his scripted made for TV speeches but Wade is the leader and "alpha" of that team and he's showing it.
