You don't agree tthat if he made more free throws he would have won the scoring title??? He only was behind by like 1 point, I'm confused as to how making 2-3 extra free throws a game wouldn't have put him on top?

      Re: The LeBron James Thread

Now, some are saying LeBron should post up more. At 6-foot-8, 270 pounds, with the quickness and speed of a point guard, he would be unstoppable. Last week, I asked him about his becoming a beast on the block one day.

"Sometimes being in the post gets boring," LeBron said with a laugh. "I know it can be easy, but it gets boring down there. I like being on the perimeter shaking and baking it, getting to the cup. It gets boring down there in the post sometimes. That's why sometimes I don't go down there, but every now and then, you'll see me down there."

        Lol, I remember that.

I guess it only took coming up short in the Finals two times (and now possibly 3 *sigh*) to realize a post game is only going to help him.

          Re: The LeBron James Thread

The one thing I've notice in game one that bothered me about his "in the post touches". Again towards the end of the game. He was either getting pushed out or letting them front him then, trying to catch the ball 15 feet from the rim. LeBron needs to understand that he doesn't have to fight to be in front. Let them front you. And then blame your teammates for not throwing over the top for easy buckets.

Hopefully he keeps attacking tonight. He started the game shooting from the mid range.

I find it funny that LeBron's career highs have come on the road.

He may find it boring down on the block right now. One day, as he gets older and his athleticism diminishes he may start to actually want to go down there.

I think he's demonstrated that he thought a lot of things were alot easier than they actually are when answering that back in 2009.

I'm not ready to say James has grown up just yet but I'd be anything he'd retract that statement if somebody asked him today.

Funny, I've seen him posting up a decent amount in this series. I specifically remember an assist he got by passing to Battier beyond the top of the arc for 3.

Seriously though I don't see how anyone can hold something against someone they said 3 years ago with respect to something like basketball. 3 years is a long time especially in basketball when a long career for a guy is ~ 12 - 15 years. We're talking about 20% of his career. This is different from something a politician would say when your politics reflect core values that aren't likely to change in that small amount of time.

Hell 3 years ago he probably thought he'd still have a hairline.

                        Anyone read this?

This will surely raise some eyebrows: Former coach Phil Jackson told HBO Sports' Andrea Kremer that he wished Kobe Bryant had played more like LeBron James.

                          Re: The LeBron James Thread

                          May as well say it:

LeBron James is a world champion.

It does hurt to watch him succeed. It does hurt me to see that he prospered by cheating. And he did cheat. And he was rewarded. It hurts me to see the hometown guy take a giant dump on his hometown, then go on to greater things. If I had any belief whatsoever in Karma for what he did, then I'd say that later in life, he's in for some ****.

This was the moment that I dreamed about for years with LeBron. To see him hoist that trophy, to be the Finals MVP, to see him get his. And now there is nothing I would rather see but him tragically lose it, or somehow drop the trophy and it shatters, or something so that it ruins his moment of joy.

You see, this was the script, except he wasn't supposed to do it as the enemy. People laugh at the star wars stuff, but it's so true. He was supposed to end the drought of Cleveland championships, not instead be another heart break along the way.

And I don't care what anyone says, no, you do not know Cavs fans or Cleveland pain. This guy was here for 7 years and crumbled under pressure, he failed as a leader, then quit on us when we needed him most, with one foot out the door. But then again, what should I have expected?

So with all of my heart, I say this: **** you LeBron, you Judas piece of ****. **** Pat Riley and his subversive ways. **** Wade for being there and **** Bosh for looking like a Dinosaur. And **** LeBron's real father who should have been there to teach him loyalty like a real man, rather than being another ****ing ******* father who leaves his child.

**** Gloria, but Delonte already took care of that. **** the City of Miami for being useless, and so full of whatever plastic **** they are using to make their boobs bigger and their faces more Joan Riversish.

And I'm sure LeBron will prance around, constantly looking for Wade to pump him up, because of his daddy issues, and I'm sure he'll act like the big man on campus. He'll look left and right, to make sure everyone is watching. And it'll be a fake moment, in a fake city, with fake people, and fake enthusiasm. Because tomorrow, you could walk down the streets and still be another guy. You are not the savior or the chosen one down in Miami, you are just another whore who spread her legs for some gold.

Either way, he's a world champion now, so congrats you piece of trash, burn in hell, and I cannot wait until you retire. You piece of monkey ****. **** off.
