Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBA 14s
Dwyane Wade left cross-country flight with LeBron James to Miami still unsure of which way James is leaning, sources tell Yahoo Sports.
I feel like a sucker for still posting tweets, but at least Woj is goodComment

I don't think Bron would have spent all that time with Wade and flew back with him if Cleveland was in the plan.Comment

Re: The LeBron James Thread
Im gonna be really disappointed if Lebron stays in Miami after all of this. Should have opted out and announced he was signing a max with Miami asap. Dont tease the destruction of the Miami Heat like this.Comment

Re: The LeBron James Thread
Lebron wants more say, more flexibility from Pat. More perks. Lebron is/has been the franchise now since year 2 of the Big 3. Not Wade. When he got here it was Wade's team. Now it's Lebron's team. He wants certain things. And I am sure that meeting in Vegas was all about that, plus what the plan is for the upcoming season and then some contract talk.
If he wants to have a shot at beating OKC, The Spurs, The Rockets, The Clippers...whomever over the next 2 seasons minimum it's playing right here with his two amigo's and role players. Get a grip media dimwits. Cleveland is all on paper, and a paper dream at this point with unproven assets, unproven coaching, and a track record of failure. When Riley sold him 4 years ago it was on paper too. But now?
MIAMI IS PROVEN.
Cleveland fans (god bless you who did not trash Lebron on his way out) Keep listening to Brousard...the letter talk, all the nonsense. Made for TV nonsense. I also wonder how many of these fans begging Lebron to come back trashed him unmercifully when he left in 2010.
This day and age where we have 24/7 tweets/media/social media has destroyed what was left of quality sports reporting. It is a total cluster ***k now and really nobody has any credibility left.
This is Lebron exercising his right as a free agent to flex his muscle with his current team to get more. Not money (he will get whatever he wants from Riley). More power. It is a total power play going on down here in Miami and Cleveland is pawn in all of this. He owes Cleveland absolutely nothing. And shame on the media for reporting all rumors and hearsay based on nothing but lousy sources. The agents are leaking crap and ESPN are taking it as gospel for their ratings.

Re: The LeBron James Thread
If LeBron does say his reason for not going to Cleveland is because of the 4 yr old letter, then shame on him for this entire charade. He would have known from the beginning that he would never play for Gilbert again. Just would tell me he was looking to paint Gilbert as the bad guy and play with Cleveland's emotions once again, all for his moments in the spotlight again. I sure hope this isn't the case. Just thank the fans for wanting you back, tell the Cavs organization thanks for what they have done, and then announce you are going to the Heat. It's not going to pretty either way, but at least this way you appear to care about fans that supported you in your first 7 years.
Regarding the entire leaving Cleveland for Miami thing. I still think Jordan, Bird, Magic never would have left Cleveland in the first place. I agree with pat Riley comments that champions (not ring chasers) don't duck and run. They beat all odds. That is what used to be taught to kids, don't give up, strive for your goals. Now days it's all changing to "put yourself in the easiest position to win". Very sad, because it takes away from the very reason we used to love sports, which is the will and heart of champion to beat all odds, and do what people thought couldn't be done. That being said, Dan Gilbert did make some comments he should have just left alone. The last half that letter about the curse going with lebron was ju dumb IMO too. That was 4 yrs ago though. At this point, if Lebron hasn't moved on from that letter, why is he even floating the idea he could be returning to Cleveland? Should have been stated from the beginning, he could never play under Dan Gilbert because of the letter IMO.Comment
