Brown has many of the same accolades as Scott does.

Finals apperances Scott has 2. Coach of the year award both not being deserving IMO. Brown has back-to-back 60+ win regular season. You could agrue the Cavs suck outside of LBJ so does that make Brown a great coach? How much has LBJ done without Brown?

IMO basketball is the one team sport where one player can have the biggest impact. Both Brown and Scott are products of having guys how are top 3 impact guys of the league at the time of their success. This does not make them good coaches just because they were riding these guys coattails.
But you can't blame the coaches for having great players. I always wondered this but I guess I'll ask: What would Phil Jackson's legacy have been if he had never had Michael Jordan and Kobe and Shaq? Would he still be considered a great coach? I don't know, but it's hard to evaluate coaches in this league. Would all of the Zen Master stuff that he pulls still be funny and interesting or would it be stale and distracting if he had a different assortment of players and no rings?

You realise CP was injuried this year right?

I am not apart of the Phil Jackson is the greatest coach ever bandwagon. I think he is overrated ,but he has 11 championships so you can make an arguement he maximized his talent. For me a coach isnt measured by rings or wins he's measured by his decision making. Scott makes terrible desicion he's a bad coach. Phil makes pretty good decision so he is a good coach.

Good thing the Cavs didn't draft any rookies. Cuz Byron was never gonna play them.

He's the kinda guy that only messes with veterans and can't miss players like CP3 that get the game right away.

I also hope the Cavs are ready for him to make questionable lineup decisions at critical times.

Scott wasn't a bad coach by any means, but eventually, my Hornets just started tuning him out.

The thing is, the Cavs are IMO probably going to be in full-on rebuild mode next offseason. So either Byron is going to have to learn how to play the young guys or this will all be a massive fail.
