Minimum age needs to be raised to 20. Players association will never go for it though.

      Re: Where are they now???

The NFL has an age restriction and I believe the NHL has one as well. I think that the NBA player's association may be more apt to go with an age restriction now. At least the older guys but then again when the current CBA runs out most of the players will be the ones that benefited from being drafted out of HS.

They should've put an age restriction in the last CBA. Now the league is suffering from a talent and image standpoint.

An age minimum rule will never go into effect anytime in the near future. As much as I am against players out of high school, the players' association will just say after this season, "Look how well Lebron, Darko, and Carmelo have done this season" and that will be that.

Anybody else notice how Tony Parker (and any other young European player that I can recall) never gets mentioned in a conversation about this subject?

The way young players are brought up in European sports is quite different than the way Americans are brought up. Promising young players are put into youth academies where they go to school and receive the top coaching available(vs. high school coaching in the US, which is often rubbish). By the time a player over there is 18, he is able to deal with the media, act like a professional player, and usually doesn't end up on the police report.
