              Billups is a better shooter.

Felton is a better passer, defender and is younger.

That is slightly surprising. I thought they were gonna trade Mozgov to NJ just to spite NYK as the rumor had been going.

True, overlooked that myself. Waiting on the NBA.com story.

I don't think there was any robbery, Denver got a nice haul of picks/players and tons of cap relief (they are no longer in the luxury tax), NY got the players it wanted (plus a better shot at 2012 free agency), and Minny was used like always. Fair trade all around.

But there had to be some middle ground between getting basically nothing, and getting everything they watned.
I think Denver would have. Why not sit and tell Melo you can stay for three years or play for less in 2012?

There was no guarantee Melo was coming to NY as a free agent. We learned that lesson already.

Broussard is saying that the Knicks get Brewer from Minnesota, for Randolph/Curry.

For the short term, I'm fine with Billups over Felton.

But I'm not sold that we are going to get Williams or Paul, or that it would even be our best move. I would at least like to have the option to have kept Felton, and focused on a defensive center.

Okay OSU, we need to drop this topic.

The biggest critique all season in NY of Felton is his passing. Giving the ball to Amare 40' from the hoop in transition which always leads to a turnover, missing guys all day in the PnR, poor decisions in the PnR. Billups isn't amazing either but Felton makes a lot of poor mistakes.

That would be a pretty nice little addition for NYK.
