I can understand the super team concern, but I don't think it's going to really have an impact on the league.

How many true superstars are there in the league? Let's say it's 10 or to make things fit better, 12.

So, that means 4 teams in the league could have three superstars on their roster if every superstar took this approach.

Yet, a few of those 15 are already locked in for a while: Kobe, Durant for example.

And that still leaves another 4-8 teams out there with about two great players and perhaps a better supporting role.

I'm not sure it's much of a concern. It's still going to take the right group of two-three superstars. The league has always been dominated by teams with two superstars (exception being the most recent Detroit Pistons championship). I don't think it's going to be much different.

And once these guys go to big markets, the big markets will be shut out of the new young crop. Oklahoma can still field a super team. They have one superstar and a budding one on their roster. That's a small market team. Others can do the same.

There's rumor that the Knicks may retire Marc Jackson's #13 hence why Melo had to change his #

That's not a bad team. Quality depth in the front court, shooting, and versatility. It'll be fun to see how well they can perform.

George Karl better put his offensive tempo on a 100. Two of the fastest, if not the fastest pgs in tarheel history on your roster...6 decent long range shooters not to mention your pgs can shoot it too. And they kept all they real bigs plus added a 7 footer.

I think this team will be better than the first half season nuggets with melo if (partly because there will be no more distractions) if they can gel on defense...I like this squad here. Come on 2k..update

Coach Karl already confirmed Lawson would be the starter.

I really feel bad for Felt. That 3 year deal was his own undoing.

He played 6 1/2 season in NY. He played about 5 1/2 season in Indiana. I'm a little surprised his # may be retired by the Knicks also. It's just a rumor though

Coach Karl is saying that now but trust, who ever plays the best this 2nd half of the season will be the one starting come playoff time. And there is a lot of minutes for Felton to get it in. He the only ballhandler on that bench

Hasnt J.R. Smith brought the ball up before. I recall him getting some "PG" duties or was that him just looking for his own shot after the rebound?

Not saying that at this point he'll be an option, just sayin.

Like the other guy said, GK already announced that it's Lawson's job to lose, and honestly, I don't see him losing it. The Nuggets want him to be the future of their team.

Felton is the one guy that I can be sure of is absolutely pissed about this whole trade.

I feel that he'll say all the right things, but he's going to have one of those moments where people question his desire to play in Denver. It's going to happen.

Even if he won rookie of the year... I don't know if that means he should get his jersey retired there.
