Ok let me rephrase that. It's always nice to give a team their first home loss.

First home loss, the only one we've played, lol.

Not like we were chasing that Celtics record.

Orlando quited man, they know it and we know it. This is why I never liked orlando, ever since the days of tmac(I did like tmac)

they seem to get discouraged and stay that way.

Its going to be hard to get a ticket to a heat game, I better mack daddy a female security guard

Dwight was great in first half. Lewis is worthless. Carter, basically, got hit in the first half, got up by himself and did not play a minute then. Wth. No balls at all. On the other hand, Eddie House is the kind of player you want on your team.

Dwight Howard is Orlando's Achille's Heal.

If a team only uses one defender to guard him, he does what he did last night. And by the way, I was impressed with him. Moved quickly after receiving the pass as he did against the Wiz (unless he went to the faceup jumper), showed better touch than usual, and scored the majority of his points at least 6-8 feet from the basket. He showed a good amount of post moves last night.

The problem is, they don't have anyone on their roster who is gonna kill you after creating off the dribble. Their offense is built around finding mismatches on the perimeter after D12 gets doubled and using excellent ball movement. When you stay home on their shooters, their offense is stifled. Miami did an excellent job of that last night. Dwight got his, but nobody else did anything at all.

And Vince is the weakest star player I've seen in a while. He can't play through pain or injuries for anything. Never has and never will.

Rondo goes without headband after league institutes new rule

BOSTON (AP) -- Rajon Rondo has stopped wearing a headband after the league instituted a new rule that prohibits players from wearing one with the logo upside-down.

Rondo had become a familiar sight with the sweatband, which he wore upside-down for unknown reasons. But NBA spokesman Tim Frank said a league rule prohibits players from wearing the headbands inside-out or upside-down.

So Rondo ditched the headband altogether.

Rondo wouldn't comment Friday night on the reasons for the new look.

The new rule was first reported by ESPN.com.

Over-regulation is something you might hear in a political discussion, but nope, the NBA....over-regulators.

I applaud you Mr. Stern for cracking down on all those pesky upside down logo wearers. The Sport of Basketball is in good hands with you at the helm.

Just don't worry about the lousy officiating.

Oh wait, he said Rondo? Good. I can't stand that lil' *expletive*.

Whats next? Not being able to wear colored sweat bands and stuff? Will they prohibit colors from shoes again? What about tatoos? Long hair?

I think Stern and co. just get bored and just think of any little thing they can change. Their going to micro-manage this league to death eventually.

Just finished watching the Suns and Lakers.

Gasol and Kobe are the best (as of right now) 1-2 punch in the league. Spending the past 2.5 seasons together, knowing each other, and knowing the system is what is setting them apart. The Lakers look so good for being this early in the season it's scary and they are making it look really easy. If Kobe keeps playing efficient, unselfish basketball, this team will win A LOT of games. It's early, but he hasn't went into "I've gotta do this thing on my own" mode yet. They have good perimeter and post defense, good ball movement, a bunch of players who can shoot the rock, Kobe and Gasol, and elite coaching. The additions of Ratliff (interior defensive presence), Blake and Barnes were spectacular. This team is just...wow.

I'm suprised by Robin Lopez. He looked pretty good tonight scoring in the paint and grabbed a bunch of boards. I didn't see him much last year and am decently impressed. It's also good to see Grant Hill running the floor, playing good d and hitting his mid-range j. He was one of my favorite players when he first got drafted by the Pistons and I'm glad to see him back in full force.
