Re: 11/22-11/28 Game Discussion Thread
But it's still the same style, it's just not working because he doesn't have the shooters that he had in Cleveland.
LeBron is going to keep pounding the ball and shooting hero shots rather than going into the paint and be the Magic style point forward he should be. Dude is SO obsessed with being "like Mike" that he is totally ignoring what he does best.
LeBron needs a Larry Brown right now. Someone to put him in his place, tell him to shut up and just play the game that suits his talents.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Am I the only one who thinks the issues in Miami are beyond just poor coaching?Comment

About Rip Hamilton to the Bulls....really the only pieces the Bulls could trade would be James Johnson, Asik, Gibson and Deng. At least until December 15th when the free agent restriction is removed.
Looking at that, I don't think the Pistons would take Deng, I don't think the Bulls would trade Gibson and Johnson/Asik wouldn't be enough IMO. If they were to somehow get Rip, it would probably have to be a 3 teamer.
I would love to see it happen though. I think Rip would be a perfect fit on the Bulls, which is why I'm even going through all these possibilities even though this isn't even a rumor lol.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. No, it isn't just poor coaching. But IMO Riley getting back on the bench would fix the issue of LeBron/Wade/Bosh playing like garbage and it would hopefully put LeBron in his place.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Me personally I like Kevin Martin better because he can play with a DeMarcus Cousins or at least fit in with other players better.
Tyreke as a franchise player is true. But his game is tough to build around. He isn't real great at setting up other players. His game lacks an effeciency of motion that guys like Derrick Rose and Russell Westbrook have. Tyreke dribbles a lot.
I just feel if Tyreke Evans is your franchise player, your franchise is probably lottery bound.Comment

This team is flawed. People have been saying it from the beginning. They can win one way, that is to up tempo the game so their half court offense and defense isn't exposed. They need to play Nellie ball.Comment

Re: 11/22-11/28 Game Discussion Thread
Imo the problem is Wade an Lebron should not be on the same team. They are not catch an shoot guys. They are meant to play with the ball in their hands at all times. You just can't do that with them on the same team. People say how talentless the team in Cleveland was, they built that team around Lebron almost perfectly. He was surrounded by shooters so he can do what he does best. Drive an dish to a shooter. So unless Wade or Lebron becomes a Rip Hamilton type player I just don't see this working out in the long run. They are ball dominant guys an it just not good right now. If Bosh would have just teamed up by himself with Wade this team would have been much better off.Comment

Re: 11/22-11/28 Game Discussion Thread
The overwhelming thing for this team is the speed of the game. Miami can put up very quick points because of their speed and ability to finish at the rim. A slower game becomes about halfcourt execution, passing, medium range jumpers and fewer possessions, and a lesser talented but more skilled team can beat them Eurostyle. This is a big problem with Boston likely to have homecourt advantage, as they excel at all of these areas.Comment

I think Wade and LeBron can play on the same team but they will lose if they play in the half court. It is much easier to guard players like LeBron and Wade in the half court.
In the playoffs the Heat will have to face either the Magic, Celtics or Bulls. All of them do a great job smothering half court teams but are vulnerable against teams that can run.Comment
