Blake Griffin, I mean if 20 points and 11 rebounds per game doesn't win you the award then what does?

Wall because he gives more to his team and is more valuable to them. Sure Blake Griffin is the better player, I agree with that, but Wall gives more to his team on a daily basis.

I don't understand what you mean. Griffin gives his team 20 and 10 every night while Wall will give his team 18 10 and 5 one night and then 10 4 and 2 the next while shooting like 30%.

I don't see the Clippers sniffing the playoffs this year. If Landry Fields can keep doing what he's doing AND the Knicks get into the playoffs and look good it should be Fields hands down. I mean Fields is coming raw to the Knicks, a TRUE rookie and is looking like a vet.

no, he should be in the top 3, but he shouldn't win. how can you argue with 20-11 as a rookie? it's not his fault he plays for the clippers

Re: John Wall or Blake Griffin for ROY?

A winning team has no relevance on ROY for the most part. If you're good enough to a top pick that means you're coming into a ****ty situation, they can't possibly hold that against a guy when it comes to choosing ROY.

Anyway, it'll be Griffin in a landslide. I like Fields but he's what, at best the 7th most important Knick?

Come on brother don't do me like that now. Besides ain't that how they do the MVP in most sports? Why should ROY be any different.

Sorry my brotha, I didn't see the logic in your post.

I won't debate it if you think Fields deserves it, but team success shouldn't factor too much into ROY. It should be based on which player is having the best individual season.

How they vote for the MVP and how they vote for ROY has always been differen so I don't see why that would all of a sudden change now.

It has to be different by nature.

Like ehh said, how can you penalize a rookie for his team's performance if the team picked that player in the top 5. Means that team probably sucked and will continue to suck for a few more years.

Griffin. Have you seen some of his highlight plays? He is one of the few players in the league that averages a 20 10 and hes only a rookie. He might even make the all star game! Plus wall has been great at ttimes but has sat on the bench quite a lot due to injury.
