Griffin is all the way ! All he needs to develop is a jumpshot and a Post O.

Now that Wall's injury looks worse, Griffin is way out in front.

No disrespect to the thread or anything but how is this still open? No objective person can honestly say John Wall is having a better season than Blake Griffin.

This thread is not even fair... Blake Griffin is not a rookie... lmao

Blake has so many skills right now. He has a very nice touch with the basketball. Very nice handles and passing skills. And his patent spin move to his right hand. Is down right dangerous!

Agreed. I have never seen a guy join the league with virtually no learning curve. 20-12 off the bat. Even Lebron struggled a little bit. This is crazy.

                      ^^ Yup ^^

I was a huge follower of LeBron during those days. But I don't know... LeBron played point guard his rookie. He was still able to finish with 20 5 5 2. Blake Griffin has so much down for a Big Men. I really love his ability to rebound the ball. And take it the length of the court. And dish it off to someone. For someone with his type of power is rare. Only guy I can think of that has that type of power and handle....is LeBron lol

Alright Lebron and Blake Griffin. Only two dudes I've ever seen join the NBA with no learning curve whatsoever. Not to mention Griffin was a freshman and Lebron was a HS dude. Just crazy.

I wouldn't say no learning curve at all. Every player has had a learning curve and had things to adjust to. Aside from that I don't know how old you are or just might not remember but there are a few names that come to mind that I would put just as high and/or higher than those two. Most recently would be Tim Ducan. He was a star from jumpstreet and made all defensive second team and All NBA first team as a rookie.

Then there is Shaq who was dominate from day one. He took the league by storm and there really hasn't been anything seen like a young Shaq. He came in the league bringing down entire basket structures and destroying people. He made the league change the support systems for the goals. He also is the only player in history to be named NBA player of the week the first week of thier career.

There are some other guys as well like David Robinson but those two are the most recent.

I'm 22 so I don't remember all of that stuff. I watch old game tape (as much as I can find) but I'm sure that doesn't do it justice.

That being said, I did say "I've never seen" so I'm still technically right. lol.

                              Whoops.

I predicted Blake Griffin would be an allstar in july, I seen him workout and he is crazy! If you can jump like that at his height of course you can dominate. He hit his head on the backboard in college.
